In today's attempt of my yearly Hunter portrait, you get to see the only version I liked
And:
The render I didn't like;
The OG sketch I did on paper that I used as a base for the portrait, which I used the liquify tool to fix its atrocious proportions.
- (the ID at the end of the post)
It's been a while since I've posted anything, and maybe if my mental health doesn't decay any more I may go back to my roots to make a ton of The Owl House fanart. It's been 3 years since the finale and yet I haven't quite moved on anyway.
[ID: This post contains 3 variations of the same Hunter portrait. The first two are digital drawings, the third is drawn on paper. The portrait depicts Hunter from The Owl House, in a 3/4 angle looking to his left. His expression is rather neutral, but his mouth is slightly open to showcase his toothgap.
The first drawing is a simpler render, akin to the paper original, but with fixed proportions. A greyish background, shadows depicted in green and highlights in orange. The rest of the neutral lightened skin is bluish. His pink eyes contrast with the rest of the colors in the drawing.
The second drawing is equal to the first to the exception of the render. Render such, in a much more realistic attempt, remindful of an impressionist style.
The third drawing is the original, on paper. Its proportions are askew, and the background is yellow - making the drawing itself pop much less.
