“Papyrus?? What are you doing here? You don’t exactly make a habit of stoppin’ by when we’re closing. Is everything all right??”
i…guess so? i was gonna see if i could get some of the baklava you have here, and um…see if you wanted to walk home with me?
“…You don’t sound all that convincing, big guy. Plus, usually when one of us says ‘Hey I’ll see on this day,’ we actually wait and see each other on that day. Last I checked, it ain’t Monday.”
[Ivy pauses for a second, then they sigh.]
“Yeah, the baklava’s seasonal, but it’s finally here. We got our shipment in on Friday. Mica’s closin’ up the register, but if I ask nice, I can probably grab it now, an’ pay for it next shift.
“Gimme five or ten minutes, and I’ll meet you outside, okay? And be ready for talking.”
