Regressor! Seo-wan w/ Caregiver! Da-eun
Summary: Once Seo-wan is finally able to study while still being at the psychiatric ward, he ends up overworking himself to the point that he ends up regressing.
Contains: Age regression, crying, thumb sucking.
Not proofread.
Since getting his textbook, Seo-wan had been studying nonstop for the past few hours now. He’d been in the psychiatric ward for so long now, he hadn’t been able to study at all due to his delusions. Though, now that he was showing signs of improvement, he was finally able to study so he’d hopefully be able to pass his exam this time.
However, studying for as long as he was after not doing so for such a long time, wasn’t necessary a good idea. Seo-wan didn’t think anything of it, he thought he’d be able to handle it and be able to study, but as time passed, he felt so overwhelmed and stressed out from it.
Seo-wan felt a feeling he hadn’t felt in a while. His head began to get all fuzzy and cloudy, he couldn’t think properly or focus on anything. He looked at his textbook, but he couldn’t process what it said or what any of the words meant. He was age regressing, and it was happening fast too.
Seo-wan was upset and frustrated over what was happening. He just wanted to study, he didn’t have time to regress. He needed to study, he needed to pass his exam, there was nothing more important than that. But he couldn’t. Not now, not when he felt the way he did.
Soft sniffles came from Seo-wan as he stared down at the book, his eyes slowly teary up as his bottom lip trembled slightly. That fuzzy, unwanted feeling quickly took over as Seo-wan quietly hiccuped, pushing his glasses up to wipe away his tears.
Seo-wan was alone in the room, the other three patients he shared the room with weren’t there right. He didn’t know how long he’d been quietly crying to himself, but it felt like an eternity. Though, Seo-wan wasn’t alone for too much longer, as he soon heard footsteps walking into the room, followed by a cheerful voice.
“How’s studying going, Mr. Kim?” Seo-wan didn’t even look at Da-eun, he only let out a small cry and wiped his tears away again. Da-eun’s smile dropped, her expression turning into more of a considered one now.
“Mr. Kim, what’s wrong? Why are you crying?” Da-eun’s voice was soft as she slowly walked over to the bed Seo-wan sat on. Seo-wan looked up at her, whimpering a little as his bottom lip began to quiver again.
“I tried..t’ study but..can’t..” Seo-wan struggled to speak, both because of how upset he was and how little he had regressed. Da-eun gave a small, understanding nod as she frowned sympathetically.
“Then how about you take a break, hm? Studying too much at once can make you feel very overwhelmed and stressed, so let’s take a break for today.” She told Seo-wan. He whined a little, but nodded. He wasn’t the type to argue, even though he didn’t want to take a break, he also just couldn’t study with the way his head felt now.
Da-eun smiled, closing up Seo-wan’s textbook and putting it on the shelf beside of his bed. Seo-wan watched her do so, rubbing the tears from his eyes with his fists while quietly whimpering and whining.
“Mr. Kim?” Da-eun turned around to look at him. “Is there something else going on? I rarely ever see you this upset.” She said. Seo-wan stared up at her for a moment, before slowly pointing at his head.
“Little..” Was all he managed to mumble out. Da-eun nodded, already having a feeling he was age regressed. She was knowledgeable on the subject and had seen it before with other patients, so it wasn’t anything she was unused to. “Okay..” Da-eun spoke softly, moving the bed tray away since Seo-wan wasn’t using it to hold his book anymore.
“What would you like to do then, Mr. Kim? I can bring you to go color or play tennis, you can take a nap and get some rest, or I can schedule a session with your doctor if you need to talk to him about this. Can you pick one of those options for me?” She asked him.
Seo-wan thought for a moment. “I’m tired.” He answered. Da-eun smiled at him. “Then I think taking a nap might be the best option, huh?” Seo-wan nodded in response, pushing his glasses up once again to rub his eyes.
“Would you like me to set your glasses on the shelf for you, Mr. Kim? You don’t want to wear them while you’re sleeping.” Da-eun offered. A soft hum left Seo-wan as he took his glasses off and handed them to Da-eun.
“Thank you..” He quietly murmured as Da-eun put his glasses up for him. “Of course!” She smiled as she turned back to him. “Lay down, okay? Try and get some rest.” Seo-wan did as he was told, while Da-eun put his blanket fully over him.
“Come get me if you need anything at all, alright? I’m here to help.” Da-eun told him. Seo-wan nodded, rubbing his face a little, before he ended up slipping his thumb into his mouth to suck on it for comfort. Da-eun frowned at the action, knowing it wasn’t necessarily sanitary but he was self soothing, so she decided not to say anything.
“I have to go now, but I’ll come check on you later. Get some sleep so you feel better.” Da-eun said. Seo-wan nodded, his eyes slowly closing. “Bye bye..” He whispered, using his other hand to wave at her.
Da-eun smiled, waving right back to him. “Bye bye.” She repeated, before quietly leaving the room, letting Seo-wan get the rest that he needed after overworking himself. Da-eun hoped he’d feel better once he’d wake up.
i like to think in-chan is a flip sometiems... u got any headcanons for cg in-chan..
Caregiver! In-chan Headcanons
•So, he’s obviously well experienced and knowledgeable on age regression, he’s literally a therapist, so he’s very good at understanding it.
•He is such a patient caregiver. He’s very good at helping his little cope with feelings and emotions, helping them find ways to deal with angry/frustration that doesn’t involve having any outbursts or tantrums.
•In-chan loves joining in with his little whenever they’re doing something, especially if they’re coloring or painting. He loves anything to do with art.
•He’ll also teach his little how to paint too! It almost always ends in his regressor not taking it super seriously and just doing random paint lines of the canvas, but In-chan still praises them for doing such a good job and admires their work.
•He does best with regressors that are more calm, since he’s typically a very calm and relaxed person, but he’s able to get along with and care for any type of little. Even if they’re the exact opposite of him and are super loud and hyper.
•He’s always making sure his little knows how much he loves them. He’s such a sweet caregiver, he’s always letting them know how special and amazing they are.
•In-chan is very good at explaining things to his regressor and helping them understand. For example, if he told them no to something, he’ll go into detail as to why and making sure they understand.
•He’d be the type of caregiver to help his little communicate with different techniques if they had trouble with speaking. He’d make little communication cards or would teach them basic sign language so they can communicate easier with him.

For the dreamers, the hopers, the ones who long for the comfort of regression… but can’t quite get there.
This flag is for regressors who want to regress — who ache for the softness, the safety, the childlike peace — but find something blocking the way. Whether it’s trauma, dysphoria, anxiety, stress, shame, or just a disconnect you can’t explain… this is for you.
🧸This identity can include neurodivergent regressors, system littles, or anyone who doesn’t experience regression in a linear or “standard” way
A/N: I will work on requests soon, I just wanted to write more little Myung-gi hcs. I love him sm guys you don’t understand 💔
•He’s an actual sweetheart when he’s this little. Surprisingly, he’s his calmest when he’s regressed this little rather than being at any other age.
•Very cuddly baby. He’s always cuddling with someone, whether it’s his caregiver, another regressor, or just a friend of his/his caregiver.
•He sleeps a lot. If he’s not cuddling with someone or being held, then he’s most likely sleeping in his crib. He’s all swaddled up, has his pacifier in his mouth, and the soft sounds of his snoring and the lullaby from the mobile fill the room.
•He drinks a ton of bottles, and he drinks them fast too. It’s to the point where he typically does have to be burped, which usually results in him spitting up since he drank so fast. He’s so whiny during the process, but once he gets burped, he’s very happy because he feels so much better.
•He gets “milk drunk” too, especially if he’s already sleepy. He’ll just stare at his caregiver, his eyes not fully open, milk dribbling down his chin, all while just smiling sleepily and cooing. He’s completely out and fast asleep after about a minute.
•Myung-gi will suckle on anything he can. He sucks on his caregiver’s fingers a lot, but will also suck on their shirt or collarbone. His caregiver always gives him his pacifier instead, which Myung-gi is completely fine with, since it’s still very comforting for him.
•Myung-gi isn’t super noisy, but he does occasionally coo at people. Of course, he can get a bit fussy at times too, which causes him to get whiny and weepy.
•He has to wear mittens at times, mainly during tummy time, because he will scratch his face up. His caregiver has rushed into the room when they heard Myung-gi sobbing, only to find him scratching at his face. Poor baby didn’t know what the cause of his pain was, he was too little to. So, mittens are definitely the best option when he starts to touch and feel his face, because he will scratch himself.
•He’s takes really long naps that last about 3-4 hours, but wakes up at least once an hour every night. He’s always needing something throughout the night.
•He loves being talked to, especially when it’s other regressors talking to him. He’ll sometimes respond, but it’s usually just him giggling or cooing at them.
•Myung-gi sometimes gets really clingy, especially at night. He’ll randomly wake up and just sob, not calming down until he can sleep in his caregiver’s bed with them.
•He has a mat with toys that hang above him and he loves it. One of the toys has a little mirror attached to it, so he’ll just stare at himself and laugh the whole time.
•He’ll hold onto random objects and just refuse to let go. He has such a grip onto stuff, that it takes a lot of effort to pry his hands away. He starts crying when something’s taken from him, but will eventually start holding onto something else, probably his caregiver’s hand.
•(Classification au) Myung-gi loves being pushed around in his stroller and going on walks. He always falls asleep after a while too, even if it’s sunny out or it’s noisy outside.
hai!!! can you do puppy regressor recruiter headcanons?
Puppy Regressor! Recruiter Headcanons
•He’s very needy. He’s always whining at someone or bumping his head against their legs to get their attention.
•He’s usually pretty relaxed and calm though. He really just likes to lay in someone’s lap while they pet his hair.
•However, he does have days where he is fully of energy and wants to play. His favorite game is fetch. He will bring his caregiver one of his toy dog bones and drop it down in front of them, then proceed to whine until it’s thrown.
•He’s a very whiny puppy, especially if no one pays attention to him. He whines more than he barks.
•He bites a lot, and will bite his caregiver’s hand. It’s usually because he’s teething and needs something to but on, so his caregiver will give him some sort of chew toy.
•He also loves biting and chewing on pillows, but he will tear them up. His caregiver has had to replace so many pillows.
•He has a crate that is really comfortable and cozy, but he won’t sleep in it. He sleeps with his caregiver all the time, taking up all their space too.
•He’s very clean and absolutely hates being dirty. If he goes outside and somehow gets dirty, he whimpers and barks at his caregiver until he’s given a bath.
•He loves baths because he loves playing in the water. There is water all over at the bathroom and his caregiver is soaked once bath time is over.
•He’s super clingy and follows his caregiver around everywhere. If his caregiver shuts a door and he wants in, he’ll start whimpering and scratching at the door until it’s opened.
Yes, your little will have meltdowns or tantrums sometimes and that’s okay. But please don’t just let it happen without support. Be there for them. Help them identify what’s causing these emotions, and offer them comfort items like a certain cartoon or stuffed animals. Ask your little angel questions like
“Does your tummy feel okay?”
“Is it hard to talk right now? Can you point to how you're feeling?”
“Would you like some space or a cuddle?”
“Do you need your stuffie?”
“Do you need quiet time?”
Please try to help your baby identify their emotions and offer them things you know they might want, but do not overstimulate them. Offer them quiet time or time alone.
