labyrinth-of-shadowsâ:
â labyrinth-of-shadows is in despairâ
looked at Xavier as he was talking. He shifted slightly in his chairâ, tilted his head towards slightly to facing the other one. â Oh no, no, no⌠There is no need to focusing on words cause as soon as they came out of mouth they disappeare, turning to memories! The memories that we may or may not rememberâŚâ
He closed his eyes and inhaled the otherâs scent. It obviously was a strange act but it was an action to just clarify of what was going on in Theoâs mind is true or not he needed to make sure of it. â Ah, I see⌠you donât smell like a human being!â Theo said quietly making sure that no one else could hear his words except them. Then he sent a wink his way and grinned a toothy smile at the Russian.
âI do not believe I ever saw you here before, do you come here often?â
The cafĂŠ was only about a ten minute walk from his new apartment. Theo had been there quite a few times. In fact, it was one of his favorite haunts.
{â }-The vampireâs grin fades when the other speaks of his identity. He seemed to go even colder - a difficult feat for someone without a circulation. He presses his lips tightly shut as he looks forward, pointedly away from Theo.
âI do not know what is it you mean,â he says, his voice much colder than itâs been at all since this conversation began.
âAnd if I did know what it was you meant,â Xavier adds, lowering his glasses for a moment to point his deep violet eyes at the other man. âI donât think itâs a very good idea to be mentioning such things in such a public place.â His voice holds an edge sharper then the fangs he hasnât yet shown.
âAnd yes. I come here often, I get coffee and sometimes a bite to eat,â he says, looking the other man over with a pointed gaze, curious as to what it is he might be to smell his inhumanity.
Ća-museing-rps is in despairĆ
{Ć}-Jessie was leaning against a building, staring up at the sky with his arms across chest. He seemed somewhat out of place against the city street - his clothes were light, loose, bright, and flowing - not appropriate for the gloomy, chilly weather. His brightly colored make up contrasted with the dark city streets, and made his blue eyes pop. His attitude reflected his surroundings though.
âF-Fuck...â he grumbled, peeling himself off the wall and turning to walk away, running immediately into another person and getting knocked to the ground, finally dirtying up his outfit. âMerde! S-S-Sorry I w-wasnât looking wh-where I was g-g-going,â he stuttered out, looking at the ground, then up at them, pitifully offering a hand. âHelp me up?â
apotomelimmaâ:
eddie opened her magazine once more to the page before licking the tip of her manicured finger to turn the page. âi use to have a profession that relied heavily on being able to predict and read body language,â she answers easily, although does not elaborate, âi was raised in a certain environment that put me at a disadvantage and i had to learn the hard way. so now i practice even afterwards.â
her hand taps the prosthetic where it bends at the jointed knee, hinting that perhaps this profession had something to do with it. instead, she asks, âwhat do you like to write about?â her eyes click suddenly as she gives a discreet yawn when she feels the urge creep up on her and smacks her dark red lips together. itâs more for him and she doesnât mind it. perhaps he will give her more knowledge on how she is percieved.
{ââ}-Paulâs fingers fidgeted as he looked down at his notebook. Partially, he felt it would be a very good idea to update his notes on her with this new information. However, it seemed wrong to do that while he was in the process of being caught red-handed. She asked a question he wasnât fully prepared to answer, but the burning reminder that he had been writing down details about her made him feel compelled to be honest.
âI uh... try to keep my portfolio diverse,â Paul said, tense. âAll prose. Iâm no good at poetry, but I write whatever I feel like, mostly itâs slice of life. More exploratory on the subject of what human nature really means,â he said. He didnât seem to notice anything off about her. âWh-What is it you do?â He asked, sitting up a little straighter.
labyrinth-of-shadowsâ:
â labyrinth-of-shadows is in despairâ
There was Theodore, sitting alone all by himself until the stranger joined him. He seems a little surprised because of the otherâs kind, friendly action. He didnât use to these kind of things. Most of the time when he arrived to a new town the people in there didnât make a good impression of themselves, they didnât even seem to try, so this time of course it was strange for him. However even though it seemed a little strange, he decided to accept the offer. After all it might be rude if he doesnât accept that.
â Iâm Theodore, Theo. It is nice to meet you, indeed.â
He said as he reached out to shake the otherâs hand.
â Thank you for the coffee. Also may I ask you, what makes you think that I look lonely?â He asked, raising an eyebrow curiously as a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips.
Theo looked young, around 25 maybe, his dark dirty blond hair, curls and all, looked a little messy. He seems tall, fairly well-built with a pale skin. If it wasnât because of his eyes he quite seemed like a human being.
{â }-Xavier shakes the manâs hand with a broard grin, before his brows rise at the otherâs question. He was silent as he weighed the question for a long moment, before smiling at him, pushing his sunglasses up a little higher and stood up, motioning with his head for the other to come with him to order.
âWell... I think that is perhaps maybe wrong word? Not lonely... but alone,â he says. âIt is pleasure to meet you, Theodore.... I mean... Theo,â he says with a grin. âI suppose you being alone does not seem right.â He finally answers, grabbing his wallet and putting it back in his pocket.
ââgetlostsqdwrd is in despairââĄ
{ââ}-Paul looked and snapped a notebook shut when he finally realized someone was talking to him. He looked flustered, either from not having heard what they were saying or the fact that they were returning his wallet. He couldnât believe heâd forgotten his wallet but remembered to grab his notebooks.
âUh.... thank you,â he said, tentatively taking his wallet from the other person with a deep red blush. âWhere... where did I leave this?â he asked, looking around the park. The fountain, the statue, or any of the other places heâd been people-watching at. âSh-Should I give you a reward? Howâs ten dollars?â He asked, opening his wallet.

â labyrinth-of-shadows is in despairâ
{â }-Xavier sits across from another, his sunglasses hiding his eyes while he flashes a toothy grin to the other person. He has his chin resting on the heel of his hand while he idly tapped his other fingers. He tilted his head to the side, before sitting up straight.
âHello,â the Russian says,â Iâm Xavier. Is pleasure to meet you, let me pay for coffee - you look lonely.â The vampire says with a cool, breezy tone as he uses his free hand - the one which had been tapping - to pull out his wallet and set it on the table. âI do not take no for answer. Well I do, but I really donât want to.â

the older woman smiled more than she should have. even without showing her teeth, eddieâs âsmileâ is armed and worrying. even wolfish is an apt descriptor. politely, she folds her magazine shut to let it rest against the side of her dark green coat. âi donât mind,â she tells him in a cool voice as she pulls the chair to adjust it so does not look directly at the writer but can still enjoy the quiet murmur of people buzzing around them.
âi like people watching too,â the herpetologist mentions in passing as a way of opening up conversation with the nervous boy. shuffling, she rests her prosthetic leg over the other to ease some of the pressure.
{ââ}-Paul was tense and nervous as he watched her sit and adjust herself. He awkwardly closed his notepad and sat stiffer. He gave her a smile that didnât seem to quite sit right on his face as he gripped the pad in his hand. Paul couldnât help but take a longer look at her.
âA-Are you sure you donât mind? I know itâs not normal and Iâm sorry for watching you,â he said. His tension laxed slightly âYou watch people too...? Why?â He asked, setting his observations down next to him, folding his hands in his lap. âAre you a writer too?â
âŁVolatileViolence in DespairâŁ
volatileviolenceâ:
Wolf took a moment to glance out the window and gauge where they were along the bus route. Once he was satisfied that he had a little more time to chat he relaxed and turned to smile at the boy as he talked.
âOh then youâre not too far from my shop actually, you should swing by sometime. First coffee is always on the houseâ He grinned brightly. âAnd donât worry I wonât be showing up at your house or anythingâ
{âŁ}-Ryan nodded at the otherâs words. He tried to remember a coffee shop near his place, but couldnât recall one. His face reflected that. He looked at the much larger man and furrowed his brows.
âYouâll have to tell me where it is so I can come by,â he said with a slight smile.
