btw with art when people say 'youve got to do it scared' 'youve got to draw bad' 'youre not gonna know how to do it until you do it' it sounds like bullshit but its true. 90% of art is just getting over the fear that it's not going to be good enough to deserve to be made in the first place. but you're here. you're alive and, with no need to justify that, you're going to make art. it's just part of being alive. you'll spend so long worrying you aren't doing it good enough that you'll look back and realized you didn't live a single day of it.

@charamochi thank you so much for the kind words! I primarily use Clip Studio’s default gouache brush for most of my digital painting/rendering! I love the texture of it plus you can get both hard and soft edges and blending all in one. If I need a different brush shape, I’ll just duplicate the brush and add on a shape I like from another brush. When you work in primarily one layer/limited layers like I do, using brushes like this replicates traditional painting to some extent in terms of both workflow and visual results. I hope this info is helpful, thanks for the question! 💕
