football goes beyond words. football goes beyond background. football goes beyond everything.
for 90 minutes, we are able to forget. forget the reality that we are forced to face every minute of every day. whether it be good, bad, or somewhere in between; while the players and the clock run, our brains can rest.
we cheer people on, people that we've never met, because they wear our colors. but every football fan knows the relationship between the players isn't just on the pitch.
maybe you found your team because they're local. perhaps it was a family members' team that caught your interest. no matter how you found your team, I'm sure you're happy you did.
I know I can't speak for everyone when saying this. some people might even think that I'm making a big deal of nothing. but for those that are able to relate to this:
it doesn't matter what team you cheer for, where you come from, what you come from,,,, we are family.
never feel ashamed to cheer your team on, even if it means you're screaming at your tv. don't feel bad to give it your all, bc it just shows you're passionate. never apologize for passion.
