Omega with Alpha who was wrongly imprisoned:

At first the omega will be distressed since their mate was wrongfully accused of a crime and was incarcerated.

Lots of crying would ensue

Heavy depressed days where the omega won't eat or get out of bed.

The omega would build a nest on their bed with all their alpha's sweaters and other heavy scent items so they can feel close to their alpha.

They visit their alpha every chance they get and are careful to keep their ringer on in order to answer every phone call.

A few different ways this could go:

The omega starts sleuthing even after their alpha just asks them to keep their head low, finding holes in the stories of the people who incarcerated their alpha.

Starts reading up on laws and actually getting really good at it, starts going to school for law.

Becomes a strong witness for the defense, providing good evidence that the stories didn't line up.

In the end they help appeal their alpha's sentence and end up getting them exonerated.

They go to law school and even though they aren't able to help their alpha right away they start learning about how they can protect others from being wrongfully imprisioned.

Hi Cutie Anon!

This wouldn't be unusual at all to have a protective nature as an omega even for your alpha. That just means that you care very deeply for them and have a desire to make sure they are safe. This is typically a trait that folks feel for their mates, pack mates, pups, and partners so I don't see a problem with feeling protective of your alpha in specific.

Chewlery!! I bet chewing is a really common stim in a/b/o. Pups love to pick out cool looking chewies and show them off at school, but the teachers inevitably have to remind them all the time please don’t share oh god those have been in your mouth

I hc that pups present when their scents start to develop from a baby scent to something that starts to smell like them. Most present around 6-7 so kindies who get their scents think they’re big stuff

At this age most pups still find it hard to sleep without their parents nest, so before school parents scent a mini blanket and pillow in their backpack for naptime

Best friends making plans for how when they grow up big they’ll make a pack together, and how their pack will be the best! Their pack house will be full of candy :P

I would say keep the blankets you're using for your nest handy, throw blankets will be your friend in your situation, you can fold them easily or layer them neatly so it looks like there's only a blanket or two when there's like four. Getting a body pillow would also help with the soft items but can be positioned many ways for tidying purposes. My alpha suggests squashmallow stuffiest for pillow and cuddling purposes!

Edit: pillow pets also would be a good addition as they can be both stuffies and pillows!!

Of course! Despite connotations about Omegas being delicate there are plenty of Omegas that enjoy sports!

Sports of all kinds! Tennis, Volleyball, Soccer, Figure skating, skiing, boxing, MMA, gymnastics, parkour sports, and more!!

hi so i’ve been building nests and stuff since i was a kid and especially as a teen! never knew it was an omega thing until now!! any other tips on how to incorporate omega things into my lifestyle? don’t care if it’s fake it’s ✨comforting✨

Omega things to add to your lifestyle:

finding a scent that you most associate with yourself or with comfort and to put it on your clothes or self (safely of course through carrier oils or perfumes)

Making nests in safe places such as your bed, a closet, a couch, etc. Using all kinds of soft and comfortable items to build out your nest. This may take time but it is worth the effort to do.

Look on Etsy there is creators who make omegaverse pins and other stuff, you can use those to identify yourself subtly as an omega.

Mark a week out of the month that will be your "heat" where you take extra care of yourself/get cared for in whatever capacity is needed.

I think I’ll answer both in this post hope that’s chill! Headcanons here we go.

Omegaverse Nesting Headcanons: 

-I love the idea of more omega fitted houses to have nesting rooms that are like big closets or small rooms where an omega doesn’t have to worry so much about cleaning up their nest or other people tripping over it so easily.

-Omegas always nest during heats to help give themselves some sort of comfort during this  time of the month. The heat and softness from the assortment of pillows, blankets, plushies, and whatever soft object they get their hands on helps to stimulate a similar feeling of being given affection by a mate and give relief to some possible cramping. 

-Omegas also sometimes nest during times they’re dealing with stress or some other intense negative emotion. It mainly depends on the omega though on what exactly brings them to nest. 

-A omega’s nest is their ultimate safe spot so they will be very protective of that and if some intruder that they have the faintest distaste for would get near it or try to mess with their nest an omega will hiss and possibly go semi-feral at such actions if it’s someone they dislike to a high degree. 

-Only those that a omega trusts the most (family, close friends, their mate, their pups) can go near their nest and be forgiven if they happen to mess something up accidently.

 -Mated omegas will often steal their mate’s clothing (usually jackets and shirts but the pervier and more bold sort will steal underwear).

-Omegas will usually bring in what they enjoy doing the most at home into their nest such as books, gaming devices, drawing supplies, etc. 

-Omegas usually start nesting at a more younger age such as 8-9 if they have a omega parent or one of their pack members has a omega parent who does. Mainly because they want to be more like their mother or show how good they are at being a omega. I certainly do!

Like all siblings do, when they’re young, they tease their little sister occasionally, but the teasings are so light compared to other families because the two brothers often can’t stand to see her upset

Once they both get a little older, it quickly become a competition between the two to see who can become her favourite, and who can make her happiest

Her laughter is often the loudest thing in the house

They’re fiercely protective of her, and on her first day of school, they both point-blank refuse to go to their own classes until they’ve gone with their mum to see off their little sister

The little sister loves playing doctor with them, so when they come in from playing rough and tumble and are covered in scrapes and bruises, she adores sitting them both down and ‘tending’ to them

They discover she’s actually a very fierce little fighter herself, and more often than not they have to mask grunts of pain when they’re play fighting with her

If ever the brothers catch wind of someone bullying their sister, they’ll descend on the child without hesitation

They’ve been in trouble for fighting a lot, purely because they get angry at anyone who so much as looks at their sister

As the brothers get older still, their childish anger calms down a little and they become more reserved and able to control themselves better, but that primal urge to protect their sister never fully leaves

She cries on their first day of middle and high school when they have to leave her behind and go to a different place every day

When she joins high school, the two brothers are in junior and senior year, and everyone knows the little freshman who has two enormous alpha brothers who will lay down their lives for her

The sibling teasing and rivalry returns as they grow older and they’re able to tell the difference between playful teasing and bullying, and it’s not uncommon to see one of the brothers chasing or being chased by the little omega in the halls
