the blonde has barely spoken to him for half a minute, yet he’s managed to leave guanghong at a loss for words twice now. the pout, the closeness and– were those actual tears? truly, kenjirou must be something special– a whirlwind of energy and innocence, coupled with the most impressive set of puppy eyes guanghong has seen. guanghong can only blink in response, lips slightly parted.

– “ but you’re… already plenty cute, ” he manages after a moment. had the words been delivered in a different way, perhaps with a confident smirk, it could have been mistaken for flirting– but guanghong sounds too awkward and embarrassed, it’s obvious that his intentions are not of the flirtatious kind. “ you kind of look like a puppy or… a stuffed plushie, and those are both cute? i don’t think you need my help. ” not that guanghong would even know how to help.

“B-But--!”

Kenjirou let out a puppy-like whine, moving his face closer to Guang Hong’s, touching the other’s nose with his own while squeezing the other’s hands tighter, really hoping to get at least some advice from the other skater.. People called him cute, but he didn’t believe he was cute until he was as cute, if not cuter, than one of the cutest skaters in all of Asia.

“I’m not cute enough! I need tips from the cutest person I could think of!”

“What the fuck?!” Yuri exclaimed as he felt his cheeks heating up. He quickly placed his hands in his pockets, trying to look more tough than embarrassed “Who do you think you are calling pretty, you freak?”

“Don’t act like you don’t ever look in a mirror!”

“And don’t call me a freak! Besides, the freaky one here is you!”

Guang Hong looked concerned-- no, frightened by Kenjirou’s sudden shout, though he didn’t pay too much attention to the other boy’s anxious demeanor. He had one goal in mind and that goal couldn’t be achieved without the help of one of the “Cutest Skaters In All Of Asia”.

“It’s so unfair that you’re cuter than me!”

Kenjirou grabbed the other skater’s hands, clasping them together and putting them near Guang Hong’s chest as he moved his body forward. His eyes became teary, though it was merely an act to feign innocence and cuteness to get the cuter skater to talk. Kenjirou added onto that act with a pout, giving him the expression of a small puppy trying to get out of trouble.

“You have to tell me your secrets! Please, please, please, please!”
