a good friend of mine who mainly plays alliance levelled a character with me recently so she could come play with me through the Horde campaigns, and when she mentioned it to her guild, she was completely attacked, berated and harassed in and out of game

A letter to people who think that Blood Elves are weak or pathetic

One of the greatest problems I have with how casual observers view Blood Elves is that they look at the great hair and snappy clothes and go ‘oh look at these silly fops’, when those ‘silly fops’ and not only the survivors of a zombie apocalypse but willing to literally suck the energy out of lesser beings (more so in the RPG books which have sadly been removed from canon lore, where the Blood Elves were asserted to even hunt down demons to drain).

These are a people who might be pretty and effete but are also sharp and hardened by their trials and literally willing to kill anyone who opposes them, and not only that but change loyalties and allies on the turn of a dime if they even begin to suspect that those allies might be treating them with even the smallest amount of disrespect or disregard.

TL;DR: Blood Elves are hardcore as hell.

These are the people who send you out literally to murder large numbers of people and then crow over it.

These are people who stand together through EVERYTHING.

No matter how different two individuals may be, they’re tied together by virtue of being the same species.

They don’t tolerate betrayal. Betray them and find yourself dead. Look at Kael’thas and the high elves.

If you don’t stand with them you stand against them and that is SCARY.

They have the awareness to be polite and amicable to outsiders, to put on a ruse and fool everyone into thinking they’re a utopia. And it works.

They have survived near-total genocide.

This guy. Yes this guy who battled the scourge, lost an eye doing so, threw a bench fifty feet, went behind Garrosh’s back (When garrosh had spies everywhere and was the complete powerhouse of the horde) while under the impression he was all alone- by himself in all of this, outright snapped back at the banshee queen- not once, but TWICE, butted heads with the strongest mage on Azeroth and in just one expansion of him getting the slightest bit of attention has people suggesting and thinking he’d be a decent canidate for warchief.

As Arthurius lay with Reina in this bed in the hospice he couldn't help but blush. He wrapped his arms around her waist and nuzzles her softly. When he finally had fallen asleep he began dreaming of meeting her children. Being an influence in their life. He was so happy. Yet at the same time.. he was full of sorrow. He could not express his feelings for Reina in the ways he wished to. For he did not wish to jeopardize their relationship. As much as he was attracted to her, it has been a struggle for him to hold his feelings back. Because in truth. He loves Reina.

They would live a happy and prosperous life. This much he could tell her. As he sat upon the mountains he let out weeps and waves of multiple tears. Dropping from his orbs. He was in dismay. For his feelings for her conflicted. He loved her. He cared for her. He wanted everything for her. Even if that meant her being happy with another. He will be happy knowing that she is happy. He would begin to walk down to the lake, stepping his feet in first, then his body, relaxing. As he drifted off into his thoughts in this lake of serenity.

Arthurius would lay in his bed, pondering about how he would save these children, He could very much so absorb the fel, in turn making him into something he truly wished not, but next as he knew were his finger nails, to turn dark and sharp, non-human like. His eyes could not close, for he saw what Akraiden would turn into if he was not saved. Arthurius was not even sure if he could save him. He thought to himself he could prolong his life, but his death would be inevitable. All of these thoughts vividly invading the mind of this summoner his body was shivering tingling and at the same time was warm. He was having a panic attack. Dwelling on these thoughts calmed his mind. Saving him from slowly going from insane. Finally his eyes closed, Pulling the Satin sheets upon his bed to cover his body he finally rested, and fell into a deep slumber
