Okay, yes, Wendy was watching all this go down with a smug little smirk– the kind she only wore when she knew she was right about something– but there was a reason for the attitude. She’d had a feeling from the very beginning, a little over three hours ago, that building a guinea pig cage without any kind of manual wouldn’t end well for anyone and yet there they were— no manual anywhere.
“We need instructions, Craig!” she said as she hopped off the counter. “Doing something like this without any help is impossible– even for us.”
“Fuck that.”
He rolled his eyes and continued back towards his little failed invention. The cage looked horrid. Bars were everywhere and it looked like it was in shambles.
It was so bad in fact, that Craig almost wanted to give in and follow Wendy’s idea.
“Y’know, maybe it would be easier if... you like, helped me! Ya know!” He spoke up, dropping his precious cage. Clang clang.
“This is just slightly impossible! I’m sure we can do this. We’re the perfect team.” He remarked.
