Sam nodded and listened carefully. "For me" he said quietly. He gulped and gave a half smile. "I-I moved to a new school and everything, when this kid decides to bully me. I got mad and I don't know what happened and I pushed him into a wall. He was unconscious for a few minutes." he said looking down. "After that I learned about my power and I never use it unless it's necessarily" he said shaking his head.

“I’m excited too. I haven’t been out of the school yet” he said with a smile. He gave Brittany a hug. They walked over to the gate. Once it open they headed for the parking lot. “Do you have a place in mind?” he asked.

Brittany thought for a moment, picturing the town that she had seen briefly in her mind. “I saw a coffee shop on the way here…we could get some coffee. Oh! But I also saw a candy store…”

“Coffee and Candy. Is there anything better” he said with a smile and a low chuckle. “Hey, can I ask you something? I hope it’s not personal. You dont’ have to answer if you don’t want to” he said looking into her eyes as they walked.

She smiled and nodded, “Best combo in the whole wide world!” Brittany looked up at his eyes right back and shrugged. “Sure, go ahead.”

Sam put on some dark jeans as he hurried to find a shirt. He settled with a white v-neck. He saw his leather jacket and put it on. He put on his vans and tied them carefully. He stood up and walked out the door. "Shoot my keys" he said as he elevated them with his mind into his hands. He closed the door to his room and headed over to the gate.

He never saw the city only when he was coming in to the school. He walked to the front gate ans saw Brittany standing there. He smiled as she hooped up and down. "Hey Brittany" he said with a smile.
