i’m bunny! i also go by fluffy. i’m 28 years old and nonbinary (they/them).

i mainly draw furry / fantasy creatures, original art, fan art, and nonsensical / happy themes. sometimes edgy, sad, and surreal art once in a while.

a word of warning that i have no consistency, i like to experiment, interests can change on a dime, and uploading overall is sporadic.

brush twice a day!

1.) i wanted to push myself and draw a complex figure with two simple ones, since it's a kind of art theme i really enjoy. hastily made a thumbnail of the concept with my mouse while the idea was still fresh in my mind.

2.) sketching out the characters didn't take too long but the machine did. i wanted it to look as detailed as i could make it, so i looked up cartoon stock images for reference and looked over the album cover of the amazing new electronic pop sound of jean-jacques perrey several times over. found a free 3d model of a stepladder from the clip studio paint assets store and converted it into lines for later.

3.) i did the line art with clip studio paint's "real pencil" and "pencil" brushes, redrawing everything freehand while also utilizing the figure tool function again. to add contrast and keep things simple, i filled in areas in with black to keep it to two colors.

4.) changed the colors from white to a deep red-orange and black to a dark red-pink and added wavy lines, tone dots, and impact spikes with the figure tool and downloaded assets. added a border as well.

5.) gave it the title "kooky cookies" in reference to the song of the same name by jean paul niquin-merkel.

1.) the character's permissions stated that the head of the character must be a realistic rendition of the actual soup can, so i found a transparent image and put it on the canvas. then i sketched on the eyes, nose and mouth, whiskers, ears, and neck on top.

2.) i trace-painted over the soup can and animal features in grayscale using this brush set and used some tone brushes for shading and erasing. :]

3.) inserted a gradient map and adjusted the sliders accordingly. this example isn't included in the published artfight attack, nor does it include post-process effects such as a sanded texture and dust, but it's close to the original reference in color scheme.
