@SarahSitkin will be hosting a BODYSUIT fitting workshop this Sunday, March 18 from 7:00 - 10:00 pm. Sign ups will be on a first come first serve basis. This will be one of a few chances to try on a bodysuit during the course of the show, stay tuned to our ig for updates! (at Superchief Gallery L.A.)

It’s not really the essence of “us,” but functions more like a garment than a persona. The bodies in the show are direct molds from actual people. They have been recreated with extreme detail. Each suit carries it’s own weight, intended to communicate a burden or lack thereof for that particular body, such as the softness of youth, the stiffness of scar tissue, or the fragility of aging skin. I wanted “Bodysuits” to be an experience of the burden or pleasure of somebody’s physicality." (at Superchief Gallery L.A.)

Supplies are being collected for Mexico earthquake relief at: Superchief Gallery LA 739 Kohler St Los Angeles, CA 90021 Monday-Friday From 12:00 - 8:00 PM We will be collecting through Friday, September 29th when we will be hosting a fundraiser from 6:00 - 10:00 PM. All material and financial support will be sent out on Saturday, September 30th. We are coordinating with journalists and humanitarian workers on the ground in Mexico to make sure all money and supplies can make maximum impact and effectively reach people in need. Recipients in Mexico are being coordinated by Daniel Hernandez @longdrivesouth and Daniel Gonzalez @printgonzalez (at Superchief Gallery L.A.)
