I binge-watched Cobra Kai with a friend, and dopamine overload. It had been a while since I last saw it, and it was just as fun as I remembered. I was really glad my friend enjoyed it too. The ending was solid, so I could proudly watch it all the way through. Still, it felt surreal—and a little sad—that the series has officially ended. I wonder… can we start getting excited about the upcoming movie now?

It’s a bit disappointing that Cobra Kai didn’t gain much traction here in Korea. But I’m thankful that I can still own and enjoy the original Karate Kid series thanks to its existing rights. Personally, Western IPs are a bit hard to access—probably because I don’t speak English well. So… thanks, Netflix. (ㅋㅋ)

+ I couldn’t understand the Korean lines in Cobra Kai at all—there weren’t even Korean subtitles. Made me think I should’ve just turned on English subs instead. ㅠ_ㅠㅋㅋ
