Speechless

They say, the captain goes down with the ship. Cliche. The captain is the one who is incharge of calling the shots of the ship. He's the one who streers abd directs the ship towards its direction. So, I can safely say that The President is the Captain of the ship called country. Do you think when the country is sinking, The President will go down with it? I think the country is sinking right now. And what's the captain doing? Nothing. They dont feel the that it is sinking. Who feels it? The people in the lower decks of the sheep! Their heads are just above the water, barely breathing. And the captain? Up there in the upper decks, in class A cabins with his friends and chief engineers and others. And when they feel that the ship is sinking? Some of them can just simply jump ship. Some are just waiting their lifevests and lifeboats to be prepared for them; while people in the lower decks are stucked and fighting for their lives. (They sink together with the ship) How about the captain? He watches his ship as it sinks. The lenses of his binoculars handed to him by his assistant's assistant. P.S. this was my college piece in speech class.

That moment

There are times that we want to go back to a certain time or moment and just live there for a while. Not to do it differently, or undo things that we have done. But just to be there, live that moment again. The exact same way, every details, every part of that moment, every minute of that time, every feeling that we felt. The time/moment that you re-live, re-enact in your mind over and over, that moment where everything seems to get along. That moment that makes you smile when it comes to your head, Or that moment that drops a tear from your eyes. That moment makes us want to go to sleep so we can dream of it.

Blow it

What will you do if you had a chance and and you think you blew it? Will you be too hard on yourself? Beat yourself up? Maybe some gay guys and women will say, we are so happy to blow things up! And some men will say, you should blow things up! And blow it well!

But really, how can we say if we had the chance? How can we know if that’s the chance if we pass up on it? Or we took it lighty?

Maybe we’ll only know if we act on it. So just go and do things! By doing, we’ll know things if we have a chance and work hard not to blow it. Or maybe work hard to blow it! :)

2013

Oh! This year just breezed by! Personally, theres no ups and downs. There's just a long flat line. Its just flat.

There is a lot of things went on around me; activities, calamities, controversies, issues and happenings but i dont feel that im THAT affected. Well, im thankful that neither me or people i care about are not that affected by those calamities.

Also 2013 gave me some opportunities to help others and i will gladly do it again in 2014. Small help or big help, i can say that i did something to help people. (I hope that those are significant)

So, 2014, please dont be a flatline to me. So

Most of us needs a Hero. A symbol that can make us believe that we are capable of doing bigger things.

Most are portrayed as a superhuman being. Power comes from unexplainable things. Mostly fictional or surreal. Bitten by a spider, a ring that glows, a genius suit, a magic potion and all.

When we are falling, we hope that there is something out there that can save us and be our hero. Some are even just waiting for their “hero” at times they think that they’re in trouble even if they’re not.

Superheroes are always pictured yo be “good” you know, fair, just, no dark sides. But most of them are vengeance seeking aHoles and insecure dudes, drunk egotistic womanizer and all. What im trying to say is heroes are not perfect. They have flaws and dark sides.

Is it so hard to admit that we are on a denial stage? No! (See, denied to admit that its a yes!) At times we cant solve a problem because we deny that theres a problem. Careful with this stamp! :)

I read an interview with the coach of the losing team regarding the recently concluded championship series of the PBA. He said the team they're up against deserve to win. But i think he took the credit away from the team who swept them in the series by saying "they won with a bit of luck" because his team was so tired. So tired, banged up. So he spoke like conditioning and physical strength and toughness wasnt part of the game! So im like, what?! If you tire your opponent out, that would be luck?! Should luck took away the credit the winning team deserves? And thats what registered to millions people who are die hard fans of their team. Luck is hardly part of the game. So, IF you won the championship, would you say that you were just lucky? Or would you give credit to your hardwork, focus, skill & ability?
