"Ugh!" Aoi stood up from her stoop by the oven, where black smoke was billowing out of the opening. "They said twenty minutes, only twenty minutes, I can't believe this!"

With her oven mitts, she pulled out the used-to-be cookies, now charred, crispy flying saucers. One swift movement and the tray was set on the stove top. Aoi took off the mitts and chucked them to the side, mournfully eyeing the abomination she'd created. She sunk to the floor, crossing her legs on the linoleum and wiped the sweat from her forehead. Making sweets for her friends had seemed like such a good idea at first, but her baking skills had proved to be disgraceful.

"Maybe I'll just buy a box of doughnuts on my way out," she muttered to herself. "They probably wouldn't know that difference."

what do you like to do in your free time?

Workout, grab a bite to eat with my friends. Sometimes Oogami and I watch television shows together. Recently we were watching that one show...with the cupcakes...

OH! CUPCAKE WARS! Oogami and I were getting pretty into it, making guesses and sharing which ones we thought were awful and of course laughing at all the spills and messes.

They should do something like that, but with doughnuts. How cool would that be?
