DAVID RAMSEY DIRECTS – Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) and General Lane (Dylan Walsh) are both having a hard time giving Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) room to make her own decisions. Meanwhile, Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) and Sarah (Inde Navarrette) have a run-in with an old friend at the diner. Lastly, Natalie (Tayler Buck) has a surprise visitor.

Superman & Lois Season 3 Introduces a Villain Worse Than Lex Luthor

Superman & Lois Season 3 stuns fans with a villain who's poised to be deadlier than Lex Luthor thanks to an invisible weapon that'll throw Clark off.

As Superman & Lois' third season takes flight, fans are intrigued by how the show sets up new problems for Tyler Hoechlin's Clark Kent. In the Season 3 premiere, "Closer," Clark is focusing on guardian duty and trying to ensure Jordan doesn't expose his powers in public. Clark does have one distraction, though, as Lois suspects she may be pregnant.

Clark and Lois are as passionate as ever, so he's mentally preparing for the adjustment to come. However, things are occurring in the shadows, with Superman getting a glimpse of quiet chaos brewing in the final act. In the process, as much as fans are waiting on Lex Luthor to appear, Superman & Lois teases someone more dangerous: Onomatopoeia.

TENSION – Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) pays a visit to Morgan Edge (Adam Rayner). Meanwhile, Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) and Chrissy (guest star Sofia Hasmik) work together on a story. Lastly, Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) finds a welcome distraction during a very stressful school day. Elizabeth Tulloch, Jordan Elsass, Alex Garfin, Inde Navarette, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Erik Valdez, Dylan Walsh and Wole Parks also star. (#113). The episode was directed by Ian Samoil and written by Jai Jamison & Kristi Korzec.

Superman & Lois Promotes Smallville Reporter to Series Regular

Sofia Hasmik, who plays Chrissy Beppo on The CW's Superman & Lois, is being promoted to series regular for the upcoming Season 2.

Sofia Hasmik, who plays Chrissy Beppo on The CW's Superman & Lois, is being promoted to series regular for the upcoming Season 2.

Lois Lane will continue to have a journalist ally in Smallville on Superman & Lois, as recurring actor Sofia Hasmik has been promoted.

Hasmik, who plays Chrissy Beppo, will become a series regular in Superman & Lois' second season, according to Deadline. Beppo first appeared in "Heritage," the second episode of the debut season, as the publisher, editor, writer and sole employee of the Smallville Gazette.

To Beppo's surprise, Lane — her idol — comes to join the Gazette after moving to Smallville with her family and angrily quitting the Daily Planet after publisher Morgan Edge rewrote and watered down one of her articles about Edge's business dealings in the town. Lane and Beppo team up to investigate Edge's plans to buy defunct mining operations in Smallville, which leads to them also dealing with the emergence of meta-human activity in the community. Beppo is technically Lane's boss, but Lane is more experienced and doesn't hesitate to take charge, even when Beppo doesn't want to follow.

Hasmik's other credits include the 2019 revival of Mad About You and the film All the Bright Places for Netflix.

The Season 1 finale for Superman & Lois is scheduled for Aug. 10.
