I installed the paid Reshade plugin for The Sims 4. Actually, I'd installed it before, but at first I had no idea how to use it and it was just sitting there unused. So this time I bought it again and installed it.

Then I remembered that I could use it in MK as well, so I did some testing. I think it worked well enough to give the impression that the lighting has changed.

I tried it with the MK11 and it was really disappointing, and I was wondering why, but it was simply because the settings were wrong.

The MK1 has slightly different shading, and I tested it, and it's generally good. However, there was a lot of flickering, and after investigating why, it seems that upscaling was causing the problem. Turning off upscaling improved it, as you can see in the top screenshot.

It becomes slightly problematic again if the distance changes even a little, though.

Doing this made the already resource-intensive MK1 even more resource-intensive, and the room temperature suddenly became like summer. It was so cold this morning that I had the heater on…

*Another story about AI

ChatGPT has finally managed to consume a lot of strange things and create advertisements for pachinko parlors. There are glitches, but the text is still legible, which is quite impressive.

The finer details are inconsistent, so it still needs to be done by hand, but if the communication is within a local scope, whether it's AI or not will be ignored, and it's easy for these to be used as means of cutting costs. And Japanese creators are already short on money…

I always produce things that the official creators would never make, and I can easily create variations and maintain high quality. However, maintaining the shape of the finer details is difficult or often looks strange (fonts are all over the place), and since it needs to move in the first place, human adjustments are ultimately necessary. But at this level, the finer details become irrelevant.

What I'm trying to say is, your AI quality is always inferior to mine, so don't try to show off your AI.

It's a laparoscopic procedure and not very serious, so there's nothing to worry about, but not being able to use a PC for a week is going to be tough… (Although, I don't think I'd be able to work even if I brought my PC, so I brought my iPad instead.)
