I try to support local businesses but the vegetables they sell at the talipapa is not saving me money. I started ordering vegetables directly from dealers last week because I want to get more bang for my buck. The first dealer I ordered from had a very minimal DF but this week, they'll be using riders to deliver so that's going to cost me more. Thankfully, I found Farmer's Haven. They deliver for free because they deliver to the city every Tuesday so I just meet them up by the road to get my orders. I only paid 280 pesos for all of these, and you know that kale is expensive elsewhere. I only paid 30 pesos for a quarter of a kilo! This local business needs to be on the feed. As early as last week, I booked an errand service provider to buy cake for Uno's birthday. They told me that they'll update me on Tuesday. It's almost noon today, but I haven't received any text from them so I PMed them on FB, and lo and behold, "Ma'am naubusan daw ng cake and Red Ribbon kahapon." Nahighblad ako, sana diba sinabi nila agad sa akin para nakaorder ako sa iba pero deadma na dahil sayang energy mainis. Thank God for technology because he reminded me of @sinnerorsaintcafeofficial. I tried messaging them but their Tiong San branch is closed. I told them I don't have a car to pick it up in their Km. 3 branch, they told me they can deliver. (Yay!) I told them I need it urgently, and in minutes, their delivery person is already calling me asking for directions. Now that's what you call awesome service. Delicious is an understatement for their chocolate mousse cake. It's loaded with chocolate flavor and the mousse is so light and airy, halatang hindi tinipid sa ingredients. On top of that, it's unbelievably affordable. ♥️ Siguro blessing na din na di natuloy yung isang cake kasi may mas masarap na cake na available from a local business.
