Sample RP Paragraph: Bloody hell, was it that time already? Gwen was busy in her office putting together a summary analysis of a victim of a weird murder they were investigating, while the rest of the team was out doing god knows what, when Rhys called her, asking about why she was late.
"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't realize what time it was and I got caught up in my work. Let me just finish this and I'll be right home. Yeah, yeah I promise. Okay, bye."
Hanging up the phone, she let it fall to the bottom of her bag. Letting out a small sigh, she gazed at all the work she still had to get done. But she had promised Rhys, so she finished tacking a few pages to the wall, grabbed her bag and a couple folders that she needed to sort through tonight, and went up to the central part of the Hub.
"Jack?" she called out, looking around. There was no one here... weird. She went by Jack's office, but couldn't find him there either. So she scrawled a message for him and left it on his desk, saying that she was headed out for the night.
Outside the Hub, a light rain was falling, and she cursed herself for deciding to walk to work that morning. "Oh yeah, bloody brilliant idea Gwen, cause the weather in Wales is always so nice and predictable."
She started to jog, dipping her head and holding the papers close to her chest, trying to minimize the water damage to them. She managed to get to the apartment without getting soaked (luckily the rain was very light), and when she got inside she dug through the folders and found that the papers inside were safe.
Kissing Rhys, she sat down with him at the table and began to eat the dinner that he had prepared for them.
It was nice, this juggling of two worlds. At work, she got to investigate murders and hunt down aliens and defend the earth, and the same night she got to eat with her husband and read books and go house hunting. It was an odd balance, but it suited her.
