Kate Upton as Power Girl

once i cast someone as a superhero in my head, i can’t help but see them as that character. in each photo. when i see Katy Perry, i only think Wonder Woman, Jon Hamm is meant to be Superman, and  when it comes to Kate Upton, i always picture Power Girl. one night, while scrolling through tumblr for inspiration, i came across a photo of her just posing with a dress on, and i liked the way her hand was on her hip- it was a very typical superhero pose, so i just took that photo and put her in the costume. there isn’t much more to explain about it, i used the same costume from the first Power Girl drawing i did, but this time i put the feminism symbol on her belt. i used color pencil and watercolor for this drawing

A cidade de Ronda,na rota dos pueblos blancos da Andaluzia um invivel acidente geogrfico. As casas ficam no alto de dois tabuleiros que se erguem cem metros acima do vale, com paredes ngrimes como as de um cnion. H uma enorme fenda entre os dois tabuleiros que racha a cidade ao meio. Desde o sculo 18, porm, num prodgio de engenharia, uma ponte de pedra une os dois lados do desfiladeiro. V-la de baixo como acreditar que existe uma cidade nas nuvens. E, de cima, ela , claro,um mirante sem limites.

Miami, Florida

Even with all of my field work I make time for fun! Today I got a lovely tour of Miami by my grad student friend/coworker. I also got to meet her family, went to two cook outs, and got to practice my Spanish! It was nice to geek out about geology/travel stuff with my friend’s sister! Overall, it was a very great, relaxing day. ¡Buenas Noches!
