Posting this now since it’s on my mind.

From the 30TH (tomorrow) to the 2ND I will be away at YOUMACON in Detroit. I’m unable to bring my latop, and honestly don’t expect to be in the room much outside of sleep and changing, so all my blogs are on a mini-hiatus. 

If you want to keep up with my antics, feel free to follow my twitter. I can almost guarantee I’ll be checking that and posting to it periodically. 

Chances are I won’t be back until Monday since I work Sunday night literally right after the con.

If you want to keep an eye out for me chances are I’ll be the only sport dork in a sea of people shorter than me and cosplaying from other fandoms. I don’t have a schedule but I know I’m gonna cosplay Yamaguchi Friday and Suga most likely the rest of the weekend with a casual!Kagami tossed in there somewhere.

Akaashi quickly yanked his hand away, hoping the skin wouldn’t bruise. Anyone could see Oikawa didn’t really care whether he was hurt or not. His face twisted into a small grimace for a brief moment. Aka-chan? What kind of nickname was that? “Oikawa-san,” he said, because one of Akaashi’s favourite things was passive-aggressive teasing, "I don’t remember agreeing to call you that." He slid out of Oikawa’s grasp and began his silent steps down the street.

"Now that they’re gone shouldn’t we hurry up and leave. They could bring back reinforcements." Akaashi didn’t hesitate. He’d set out with a specific purpose today and he wasn;t going to let that ruffle his feathers— he had better things to do today. Whether Oikawa wanted to follow or not was his problem. The dating thing brought prickles of concern down his spin as well. 

He just hoped Oikawa didn’t mean it. While he’d never met the man until a few days prior, he’d heard the rumors. Mostly from Kageyama and the rest of Karasuno. And what he’d heard was never good. Akaashi wasn’t too thrilled when they’d met for the first time. But Oikawa hadn’t done anything just yet to prove those rumors had truth and he was hoping it remained that way.

Oikawa released Akaashi's hand without a fight, holding his hands in front of him, and if he felt a pang of bitterness for how quickly Akaashi took his hand back Oikawa didn't show. Hands slid into his jacket pockets, shoulders lifting lazily into a shrug as he trailed along behind Akaashi. Well, it wasn't his funeral if Akaashi didn't catch on to what he was doing. He wasn't the one that had to live in the city. His visits weren't too often, and he could easily avoid a certain part of town if it proved too dangerous. The perks of a big city.

"It wouldn't hurt to call me that, would it~?" The only thing that would get in the way would be that this was only their second meeting. Not that it mattered much to Oikawa. He had only said what he had to try to keep up the boyfriend act. "After all, we're boyfriends~" A smile pulled at his lips, good natured in appearance. It wouldn't hurt to keep it up to try to deter any prying eyes or eavesdropping. And maybe, just maybe, he wanted to tease the other setter a little, try to crack that impassive looking shell.

A little bit of jealousy might have motivated him to keep the boyfriend thing going. He respected Akaashi, Oikawa really did. Despite being one year younger than him the other setter was part of a national level team, a level he was clawing desperately to get to.

The corners of his lips pulled back a bit farther, treading dangerously close to smirk territory. "That would be the smart thing to do." A small pause, picking up his pace a bit until he was close to Akaashi's side, smile returning to normal. "You look like you're on a mission, Aka-chan! Where are we going?"

Like as a way to keep busy, keep moving, not really give himself time to think on what he did. And he ends up tearing something in the process. Gets told he can't play the rest of the year, and if he goes against that and plays it could make things worse and he'd be unable to ever play again.
