“This is how I normally look.” Her mask was in place. “Maybe you have me confused for someone else, Ma- Vault Hunter?” She had to stop herself from calling Maya her name. God, habits die hard, don’t they.

She placed her weapon on her shoulder, clicking her tongue as she looked the other over. “Mm....Maybe? Iunno.” She shrugged, the motion causing her to shift her grip on her weapon as she brought it back into both hands. “I guess ya’ do look a little familiar...just can’t put my finger on it...”

"Always by your side" - To Yoshiki (could say she pulled him out of wreckage maybe?)

A slight, weak growl could be heard from the Devil as he came to, only to see this woman  at his side. his left arm attached to an IV quickly told him he was being looked after, most likely a hospital. Of course, the moment he found himself able to, the first words out of his mouth were…

“How…long have I been here?”

“Well…this is wonderful. First day here and I’m already down.” Of course, he was lucky his non-human body awarded him some added resilience. Otherwise he might’ve not even been able to make it to the bed he was in. 

“It’s Yoshiki. And yours since you’ve been watching me like this?”

“Maya, Vault hunter.” She chuckled, and leaned back in her chair, her eyes going over the other. “I wish I knew what kind of wreck you were in, especially to get banged up that badly. I mean, granted, I was caught in an exploding train but I lived. But you,” She whistles with a small laugh. “You’re a whole other level of screwed when it comes to injuries.”

“About a week or two tops.” She flipped the page in her book, letting out a faint snicker as she glanced to him. “Ya got caught in a pretty nasty wreck by the looks of things. You’re lucky I came along, or the bandits woulda gotten to ya.” She said softly, putting her book aside. “Welcome to Pandora, ya’ got a name?”

The being rubbed her temples with one of her massive claws, her eyes shut tightly as she listened to this human droning on and on, eventually she had enough, and held a single finger out to them, followed by pointing to the staff on her back, and making a sort of gesture implying she was going to stick it somewhere painful.

Zarp was certainly having trouble understanding this, the gestures she could work out, but the mumble… Not so much. “Do you wish to write it out?” Zarples asked, stepping back from the larger person to gain some breathing space.

She hit her own chest twice and shook her head. She could hardly hold a pencil with the way her claws were. Instead she pointed at the human, and with her other hand, mimicked a sort of talking motion, she then closed her hand rather suddenly, pointing to Zarpedon still.

Zarp stopped kept a secure grip on her staff with one hand round her back. "you also need to learn some manners." She said in a judgemental fashion, the other was infact far larger than her but Zarp could manage… Maybe.

She leaned down, her gold and black eyes staring into the others. Her brow furrowing into what one could call a frown, as she let a breath from her nose, forming steam in the cold air. She muttered something, only to have it muffled by the metal plate over her mouth.
