Pads VS Tampons (pros n cons)
-this is just my opinion-
Pads
Pros:
-no pain
-easy application
Cons:
-higher leakage probability (esp. when sleeping/playing sports etc.)
-doesn’t look too well on tight jeans
-can cause rash
-you can see the whole bloody business all over
-unfriendly with certain types of underwear
Tampons
Pros:
-no leakage (very little chance, unless ur lazy and doesn’t change when it’s already puffed up like a blowfish down there)
-very little mess
-smaller size
-goes well with any outfit
-underwear friendly (thongs,boyshorts,bikini and even your granny’s underwear)
-no bulky feel
-less bloody mess
Cons:
-rather complicated application
-a lot of *insert-sex-organ-here* exposure (which is bothering esp. for a germophobe like me)
-pain during insertion and when inserted -just a little (idk about this yet coz i’ve been using the U super+ by kotex which is really humunggus,the result of my fail shopping i really wish i should’ve just took the regular ones even with my heavy flow)u
-a little discomfort and awkward feel when walking or sitting (again, as i have mentioned above..maybe it is the size that i bought which is totally my fault)
-takes too long to remove ( this is probably because of the size im using)
this is based on my opinion and experience using both during my period… i’m a heavy flower and i only get periods every other month so i usually don’t use tampon regularly on monthly basis.. that i admit could also affect the feel i get so this is sort a downside on my judgement..btw kotex U have cool colors with the tampon applicators LOL :p
