Off the top of my head I do know that Sherlock plays violin and how he plays it usually depends on his mood... but sometimes he'll also play the violin to apologize to Watson, usually by playing a song Watson likes

Sherlock is also pretty interested in chemicals! In fact, when Watson first meets Sherlock he's in a lab! I'm also pretty sure he wears plasters on his fingers because of chemical burns because of that
