at first, his only perceivable response is anger. his jaw clenches & he wants to tell her how wrong she is       how unrealistic her words sound, so drenched in falsities that they’re near useless as a defence. ❛ how dare you       !! ❜ he begins, taking in an uneasy breath which does little to calm his thoughts ( GO ON, TELL HER !! TELL HER HOW STUPID THAT SOUNDS       ), those that bury him time & time again. inescapable, intrusive. & he would tell her that what the words that drip from her lips are lies       a deadly poison sent to destroy him       he’d say it all if any of it rang true. 

but she’s right & he’s defeated (       ONCE AGAIN ), slain by all that he knows to be true. he pushed them all away when he needed them most. he lied & he pretended because he wanted to believe, that even for a short moment, he could be strong. he cast himself away on a sinking ship with no oars & he let himself drown without the concern of others. what’s the point in allowing other people to see you struggle for each meagre breath when you know       YOU KNOW ALL TOO WELL       that they can swim just fine on their own without your dead weight on their shoulders? there is NO POINT.

& so he turns to her, gaze icy & hands raised in explanation. what his tone creates is something torn between guilt & anger, disbelief & recognition of his mistakes. a bitter laugh at his own expense, because if nobody else will laugh at him       why shouldn’t he do it himself? ❛ i didn’t need their pity. i didn’t want any of them to try & understand what it must feel like, to be exhausted from spiking one       just one fucking toss! i wanted to be someone they could rely on, not someone they had to coddle & take care of        !! so i might be alone, sure. but they’re better off. ❜

                          MOMOI KENTA + INSTAGRAM.

momoi kenta is something of a modern teen who longs for simpler days       as shown by the contents of his instagram. it’s not messy, really, but the clearest element of it is that he doesn’t care for the placement of his photos. he has his rules, however       : never place two selfies next to one another, never post pictures of your food ( he breaks this rule almost WEEKLY ), & always make sure your pictures fit nicely together. because he has many followers ( kenta is a very artistic individual      & he would be even if he was still on the court ) he likes to keep things at least slightly neat & tidy, so as to keep it aesthetically pleasing. 

his photos contain a wide range of different things. from pictures of his cats, to sneak peaks of articles yet to be printed       pictures of his hometown & pictures of mizu & various other important people. even stretching to pictures of school classrooms, as he knows the majority of his followers are from the westernised culture       they like to save & use his pictures on different platforms such as tumblr for their own aesthetic posts.
