𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝, yet the tension that riddled her body was enough to convey that she had not been prepared for this confrontation. she had spotted him earlier in her day as she was guided to the meeting area upon arrival ⸻ her peripheral catching glimpses of recognizable features, but she wasn’t entirely sure. now that he was standing firmly in front of her with the undeniable look to his face she remembered from way back then . . . there was no doubt left in her mind.
