HIS IDLE PATTERN OF WALKING CEASED, the moment he found himself standing in front of the wooden doorframe that leads to the TRANQUILITY of his own place. With one hand, he had grasped the miniscule inanimate object, and thereafter– he would RAISE said occupied hand, placing the thin object inside the keyhole. Twisting it, and once having a CLICKING sound echoing the atmosphere, he pushed the door forward, allowing himself to enter the four concrete walls that he so longed for. It has been a long day.
—— ! ! ?
And yet, the first thing to take notice, wasn’t the tidiness of this place; but rather, the PRESENCE that did it, sans his knowledge. Not that he had any complaints to reveal, considering the fact that this was a NECESSITY that had to happen at some point. And Evergreen happened to be the one to do the task. And he was BEHOLDEN for that.

Normally he would display his DISLIKING towards having people invading his personal space, without his approval. So, this was A RARE EXCEPTION.
"Aren't you happy to see me, Laxus?" Legs clad in tights were crossed, and so had been her arms until she broke her posture to throw her voluminous hair over her shoulders in a quite random gesture.
Truth be told, she'd almost definitely been certain that she would be greeted with indifference at best - at least for the first moment of Laxus processing that she had entered his house without him knowing and giving permission. He wasn't a fan of this kinda stuff and if she was honest then there were times where all of them, no matter how close they were, preferred it not to be astonished with such random visits.
Either way, she was here, and for a reason. Confidence lingered in her expressive eyes but the smile she shot his way was less convincing. It was bound to crumble - sooner rather than later.
"Alright, alright. I couldn't get Freed on the phone and Bixlow is on his solo mission. I knew you would return soon so I came here..." The words didn't quite leave her lips yet, however the indication should be obvious; she wanted to talk to somebody. Or at least be in somebody's company. And not just anybody's company.
