Hey … I know I said that I already had a place to stay … but that plan kind of fell through. I just didn’t want to say so. This whole thing is embarrassing … Anyway. Could I maybe steal the couch at your place? Just for tonight.

I appreciate that babe, I really do, but if anything, this has taught me that I need to live in my own. I’m not ending up homeless again the next time that somebody gets sick of me.
And I know what you’re thinking: But Jane, you got evicted last time. You couldn’t afford to live on your own. And while that may be true, that just means that I have to find a second job again. It worked fine when I had two jobs. So I can use the money that I was saving up at Jackson’s for a car on a new down-payment on a new apartment, and then I have a month to find a second job before the next set of rent is due.

I’m not going to just barge in on you and Winter. Besides, I have somewhere to stay tonight already set up. That will at least get me to work tomorrow and then when I’m done with that I can figure out my next move. Maybe I can try to get my old apartment back.
