Had a nice conversation with a couple of young ladies who sail Wayfarer dinghies in the UK. I believe their town was St. Mawes. They saw my hat, had a lot of questions and offered to trade for my hat. I still have my hat. Was nice to run into sailors on a business trip. They were headed home. Made my life a little easier and a little safer. No, it doesn't drain overboard. Maybe I'll make a cutting boad top for my sink like this #vanlife people. That water pump draws water on the up and down stroke. The tank fill hose and water filter are stored below. I can make water from bayou or lake water. Don't have a desalinator yet. Completed my #SCAMP tent today. Simple 8' by 10' tarp, packages of snaps and two 1/2" CPVC pipes for arches. $38 dollars in parts. My lovely bride did the sewing.
