Mingyu had taken you home upon your request, and the two of you were silent the entire ride home. Your mind was full of far too many thoughts and Mingyu knew that trying to talk to you would only make it worse. When you arrived at his house, you took a shower and then laid in his bed under the thick covers, looking lifeless.Ā
Was all of this your fault? Had four innocent people been murdered⦠because of you? Thinking about it had your eyes swelling with tears.Ā
Why was Jun doing this? To get to you? To get to Mingyu? You werenāt sure, but Jun had gone way too far now. On top of all of that, you had almost kissed Wonwoo after telling Mingyu you love him and swearing to him that there was nothing between you and your best friend. You didnāt even want to know how far things wouldāve gone if Mingyu hadnāt interrupted you.Ā
āMingyu?ā you said quietly, trying to hold back tears. He shifted his position on the bed so that he was looking at you.Ā
āYeah?āĀ
āI⦠Is it my fault? Those kids dying?ā your voice broke as you spoke.Ā
āGod, Y/N, of course not.ā Mingyu replied, reaching out and pulling you close to him. You couldnāt help but sob into his chest as he comfortingly stroked your hair. It normally would have soothed you, but given what had happened with Wonwoo earlier, you didnāt think youād ever felt as guilty in your life as you did in that moment.Ā
āDonātā¦ā you pushed away from him. āDonāt do that.āĀ
The room was tense again as you laid flat against the bed. You didnāt even breathe for what felt like an eternity, and then, you were sobbing again, only it was into your hands this time.Ā
Mingyu just looked at you, completely unable to believe that youād pushed him away. Heād always comforted you when you were upset, and youād always welcomed it, so he had to wonder⦠What changed?
You put your arms down and sighed, barely able to see through the water that filled your eyes.Ā
āI kissed Wonwoo.ā Mingyu sat up immediately.Ā
āWha-ā
āOkay I almost kissed Wonwoo, but you showed up before anything could happen.ā you explained, refusing to look over at him. Mingyu scoffed, throwing his legs over the side of his bed and running his hands through his hair.Ā
āYou told me,ā he sighed, looking over his shoulder at you through the darkness, āyou told me there was nothing to worry about.āĀ
āI know, I know, and there wasnāt. I really, really thought there wasnāt.ā you explained, but you knew those words meant basically nothing. Mingyu silently turned on the lamp by his bed before standing up.Ā
āIām gonna go to Jeonghanās for the night.ā he said calmly, almost as if there was nothing wrong.Ā
āNo Mingyu please donāt,ā you begged as you shot out of the bed, nearly running over to where he stood. He wouldnāt look at you. āPlease just talk to me about it, I-ā
āTalk? Y/N thatās all we do is talk, and clearly it hasnāt gotten us anywhere.ā Mingyu pushed past you and walked over to where a jacket lay draped over a chair. āYou tell me thereās nothing to worry about with Wonwoo. You tell me that Iām your priority and that I have no reason not to trust you, and then all in the same day you tell me you love me but wouldāve cheated on me had I not been there to interrupt you? Because I was worried about you nonetheless?ā Mingyu scoffed, placing his hand on the door handle. āPick a side, Iām done talking.āĀ
And just like that, you were alone, only the dim light of Mingyuās bedside lamp to keep you company.Ā Ā
Youād decided to sleep at Mingyuās house that night despite him being gone, though you didnāt do much sleeping. But how could you? Jun had killed 4 people because of you, or Mingyu rather, but you were still involved somehow, and along with that, Mingyu was pissed at you. Again. You couldnāt blame him, though. He had every right to be. Again.Ā
When morning came, you begrudgingly got out of Mingyuās bed and walked over to where your phone lay on the chair that his jacket was on only a few hours ago. As you held it in your hand, you contemplated what to do, who to talk to. However you didnāt have to think long, apparently, as you clicked the call button next to Wonwooās name without a second thought.Ā
āHello?ā he answered after a few rings, sounding less than excited to be hearing from you.
āHey.ā you sighed, āListen, I know last night was weird, but I told Mingyu about it and now heās gone and wonāt talk to me, so can I please just come home? You donāt have to talk to me or anything, I just donāt think Mingyu wants me here anymore.ā Wonwoo was silent on his end of the call and you were holding your breath in anticipation.Ā
āObviously you can come home, you pay just as much rent as I do.ā he replied, causing you to exhale in relief.Ā
āThank God, thank you.ā you ran a hand through your hair. āIām gonna skip out on class today, so Iāll be home in a little b-ā
āGreat.ā Wonwoo deadpanned, before abruptly ending the call. You were surprised at his shortness, though you quickly realized you shouldnāt have been. How on earth did you manage to make the two people you were closest to mad at you at the same time? Were you seriously that stupid? And selfish? You tried not to think about it as you put away the few things that you had taken out of your bag since youād arrived at Mingyuās house.Ā
You put on some normal street clothes and grabbed both your clothing bag and your school bag, thankfully avoiding Chan as you exited the cute little house. You really liked the young vampire, but you didnāt want to have to explain everything that had happened last night to him.Ā
You felt weird, burdened even, walking home with two bags. You hadnāt really walked anywhere in so long, thanks to Mingyu and his luxurious automobile. Again youād decided to give him some space, no matter how much you wanted to beg and plead for him to forgive you. You didnāt deserve it⦠you didnāt deserve him, and you knew that.Ā
You finally approached your front door and fumbled for your key, unlocking it once you got the golden piece of metal out of your bag.
āItās not even that bad!ā you heard a perky voice say from your couch. You closed the door and dropped your stuff, being as loud as you could to get Wonwoo and the girlās attention. They both whipped their heads toward you, though the girl on the couch wasnāt coffee shop girl, it was the girl who had checked him out in class way too obviously at the beginning of the semester. She was pretty⦠really pretty. āOh, hi! Um, whoāre you?ā
āY/N. I live here.ā you replied, giving her a not-so-friendly look.Ā
āOh yeah! I recognize you, youāre in one of my classes.āĀ
āYeah,ā you nodded, ācan you go now?āĀ
The girlās expression fell. She looked over at Wonwoo, who was looking down at his hands that rested in his lap.Ā
āI, uh⦠I guess so.ā she shrugged as she stood up from the couch. She gave Wonwoo one last look; he was still avoiding eye contact. āIt was nice meeting you, or⦠seeing you, I guess.ā she stepped over Wonwooās feet and over your bags before heading out the door.Ā
āWell she seems lovely.ā you said, annoyed, as you walked so you were standing in front of him. āDid you or did you not make sure that sheād be here when I got home just to do what? Piss me off?ā you asked with your hands on your hips, not really expecting him to stoop so low.Ā
āNot really, but Iām not mad that it turned out that way.ā Wonwoo shrugged as he stood up, beginning to walk toward his room.Ā
āWhen did you get so vengeful? I know it doesnāt mean much, but every time Iāve hurt you itās never been on purpose. Donāt you know that?ā Wonwoo stopped in his tracks.Ā
āIāve let you walk all over me for years, Y/N. Years.ā he turned around to face you. āWithout a word. Then you have the audacity to fuck with my feelings in every way imaginable? How is that not hurting me on purpose?āĀ
Your jaw dropped at his words. You were angry now, blood nearly boiling. You knew you didnāt treat him the best that you could sometimes, but him claiming that you āwalked all over him for yearsā was far too exaggerated for your liking.Ā
āAre you kidding me?ā you stepped closer to him. āI donāt mean to be crass, but you couldāve stepped up and told me how you felt at any given time. You liked me looong before Joshua came along, and even if you had fessed up when I was seeing him I still wouldāve chosen you. I always liked you, Wonwoo, but I made due with people that werenāt you because I never thought we would happen. You couldāve done the same thing, but you didnāt. You decided to wallow around in self pity, wishing that you could have me, when the entire time you could have, you just refused to say something. Why you went about everything that way I donāt know, but donāt go blaming me, saying I walked all over you, when in reality you chose to sit back and watch me try to get over you by being with other people.ā You pushed past Wonwoo, whose jaw was clenched, and went into your room before he could say anything in response.Ā
You leaned against your door, resting the palm of your hand on your forehead. Well that was a lot of pent up feelings brought to the surface, you thought. You tried debating with yourself, telling yourself that you were too harsh on him, that you were overdramatic when you spoke, but you really didnāt think that you were. Like youād said, you wouldāve happily been with him at any time if he had told you how he felt, but he simply never did. Well, he did, but only when it was too late.Ā
You wanted to unpack your things, but youād left your bags by the door. In the event that Wonwoo was anywhere but his bedroom, it would be far too awkward to go back out there already. That being so, you plopped down on your bed before settling under the covers. You by no means meant to, but you found yourself falling into a deep, deep sleep.
Wonwoo sat on the couch watching a random, only somewhat interesting television show, when there was a knock at the door. He sighed, pausing the show before standing up and turning the door handle. When he pulled it open, he came face to face with Jun.Ā
āOh, hey man. Whatāre you doing here?ā Wonwoo asked casually.
āHey, was just kinda bored and thought Iād stop by. You free?āĀ
Jun liked Wonwoo enough, but the main reason for his friendship with the younger male was because Wonwoo was a one way ticket to you. One of his accomplices had seen you leaving Mingyuās house not long ago with what seemed like all of your things, and Jun knew that he had to do it. Today.Ā
āUh, yeah. Y/Nās here, but I donāt think sheās coming out of her room anytime soon.ā Wonwoo opened the door further to invite Jun inside. Jun smirked as he entered the small apartment.Ā
āReally?ā Wonwoo shut the door, āWhy is that?ā Jun stood by the couch with his arms crossed over his chest. He was feeling confident, and for what he had planned, he needed to be.
āWe just⦠had a fight is all.ā Wonwoo itched the back of his head as Jun let out a breathy laugh.Ā
āIs that so?ā Jun appeared to be looking at Wonwooās head, his forehead specifically, and it made Wonwoo feel very uneasy. āThen she wonāt mind if I do this?ā
āWha-ā
In the blink of an eye, Jun had grabbed the back of Wonwooās head and slammed it down onto the wooden coffee table, and due to Junās vampire strength, Wonwooās head broke the table, going right through it and hitting the tile floor. Wonwoo lay there, unconscious, and Jun stepped over his unmoving body.
Jun quietly opened your bedroom door and saw you asleep on your bed. You looked peaceful, cute even. He walked over to where you lay and sat by your feet on the edge of the mattress. You didnāt budge then, but when Jun slowly ran his pointer finger along your cheek, you jolted awake.Ā
āHello there Sleeping Beauty.ā Jun said smugly. You immediately sat up, scrambling as far backwards as your bed would allow, getting as far away from him as you possibly could. āYou really are beautiful.ā
āWha⦠What are you doing here?ā you asked in a panic, unable, and almost unwilling, to believe that he was in your bedroom.
āDonāt act like youāre not happy to see me.ā he smirked. You scoffed as a light sheen of sweat formed on your forehead. You tried not to let fear show on your face as you mentally planned your escape, hoping that you were strong enough to get out of his grasp if you needed to.
You decided to try and make a run for it, and you almost made it. Almost. You had tried to get out of bed, tried to run around him and get out of your apartment. Get out of his reach. But youād forgotten all about his vampire abilities, and you were suddenly pinned to your bed simply by Junās hand on your throat.Ā
āYouāre gonna do everything I say or you die. Got it?ā he asked, but you could barely breathe, let alone answer him. You nodded as you let out choked breaths and thanked the heavens when he finally released you. You sat up slowly, looking at him cautiously, your body tense in a way that it had never been before. All traces of smugness were gone from his face and that only made him and his broad frame all the more intimidating. āYouāre gonna put your shoes on, walk out the door with me, and get in the car. Understood?ā you nodded at his words once more before standing up. You walked over to your closet, slipping on a pair of shoes before turning to look at Jun. He nodded his head toward your door and you walked toward it, and soon, you felt his presence behind you. He reached by your side and grabbed the door handle, twisting in a sort of ominous way before lightly pressing your lower back, ushering you out of your bedroom.Ā
You walked slowly, though when you turned the corner, the sight had a wave of pure horror washing over you. Tears flooded your eyes in an instant as you fell to your knees, crawling over to where Wonwoo lay unconscious.Ā
āWhat did you do to him?!ā you cried out through tears. You clumsily tilted his face toward you and noticed the large gash on his forehead. It only made you cry harder, the feeling of your heart breaking into two pieces masking the warmth of the tears falling down your cheeks.
āWhat I had to do.ā Jun pulled you up by the back of your shirt, giving you no time to mourn. āLetās go.ā you took one last look at Wonwoo, unsure if you saw a natural rise and fall of his chest, before you were being shoved out the door.
You didnāt try to hide your tears. You hoped that someone would see the two of you, the tears on your face, how uncomfortable you were. You hoped that someone would intervene and somehow succeed at rescuing you, but there was not a single person in sight. It was your worst nightmare; you were alone with Jun.
He opened the passenger side door of a black vehicle and shoved you inside of it. You climbed into the seat much more willingly than you wanted to, and before you knew it, he was driving away with you as his captive.Ā
Mingyu had tried your phone at least a dozen times and you hadnāt answered. Youād left your phone charger at his house and he didnāt know why heād called you so many times about a phone charger, but he chose not to question it. Heād started to worry once he realized you werenāt going to answer anytime soon. It wasnāt like you. He knew that you were trying to give him space, however he also knew that you wanted to talk to him, so him reaching out to you with you not answering? It was suspicious.Ā
He called you one more time as he sat in his car, right in front of your door. Again, you didnāt answer. Mingyu let out a sigh and got out of his car, approaching your door with worry apparent on his features. When he knocked, no one answered. Not even Wonwoo. He knocked again, but still, nothing. He jiggled the handle, and much to his surprise, the door opened.Ā
He opened it apprehensively, though the moment he saw the broken table and Wonwooās still body lying on the floor, he was rushing back into his car, panic coursing through his veins. Heād never driven so fast in his life as he made his way to the only place he thought you could be.Ā
Junās house.Ā
You woke up in a dark room, only a small lamp in the corner providing light. A bag with clothes, underwear, and a picture frame sticking out of it lay in the corner. You could only assume he took it because he knew heād be holding you prisoner. How thoughtful.Ā
Your hands were tied behind a chair, your ankles tied to the legs of it, and there was an empty chair right in front of you. The last thing you remembered was being in the car with Jun; he must have knocked you out somehow, as you had a massive headache and a pulsating bump on your head. You were completely alone, with no idea of where you were or what was going to happen to you.
Nevermind, this was your worst nightmare.
You suddenly started to panic. You remembered that Mingyu was mad at you and Wonwoo was⦠dead? Unconscious? You didnāt know, but god you just hoped he was alive. You had no way of contacting anyone, and Mingyu was pissed at you, so why would he come looking for you? He wouldnāt figure out that youāre missing for days, maybe even a week given how upset you assumed he was.Ā
You were snapped out of your thoughts when you heard the door open, then saw feet approaching you.Ā
āWell, well, wellā¦ā Jun spoke as he plopped down on the seat in front of you. āYou look prettier tied to a chair than I thought you would.āĀ
āWhat do you want?ā you asked angrily, trying not to show that you were scared of him, scared of the entire situation.Ā
āYou know what I want.ā he crossed his arms, leaning back in the chair. āTo, I donāt know, completely destroy Mingyu? You know, the pathetic excuse of a vampire? Your boyfriend? Or⦠is that over now?ā you clenched your jaw at his words. If he was gonna kidnap you, the least he could do was keep his nose out of your romantic life. You werenāt going to answer him. You looked around the room, avoiding his eyes. āSo youāre gonna give me the silent treatment, huh?ā Jun said playfully as he stood up, āDonāt worry if you dumped him, Iām not judging. I would pick Wonwoo too.āĀ
āI didnāt pick anyone.ā
āReally? Why not? Isnāt that exactly what boy toy Mingyu wants you to do?āĀ
āHow the fuck do you know so much? If youāre gonna make us miserable the least you could do is stay out of our personal lives.ā you dodged.Ā
āIām quite observant, and you forget that Wonwoo and I were friends. He talked a lot more than I expected him to. Or, he talked about you a lot more than I expected him to.ā you were boiling with rage.
āYouāre a piece of shit.ā
āA handsome piece of shit though, right?āĀ
You decided to stop talking again. You knew there was no point in trying to get anything useful out of him. Jun waited a few more minutes, and when he realized you were officially done feeding his fire, he sauntered toward the door.Ā
āIāll be back. Soon.āĀ
Mingyu pounded on Junās front door, so much so that there were multiple dents in it by the time someone opened it.
āWhat the fuck are you do-ā
āWhere is that asshole?!ā Mingyu yelled pushing past the small male that opened the door. He looked around the house, but there was no sight of either of you. Mingyu heard someone calling after him, telling him to leave the house, but he didnāt care. He ran up the stairs, taking them two at a time, before he was kicking open door after door.Ā
Each room appeared empty.Ā
He went into all of them, checking closets and bathrooms, but they were all vacant. He locked eyes on a door at the end of the hallway, but just as he was making his way towards it, just as the handle was almost in his reach, he was being dragged away. There mustāve been 4 or 5 people tearing him away from his destination, because he couldnāt fight them off, not even when he was trying his hardest. He screamed at them, telling him to get the hell off of him, but of course, they didnāt listen.Ā
He fought and dragged his feet until he was being thrown outside the front door, his ass hitting the concrete with a thud.
āStay out of here, piece of shit.ā one of the men spit, but Mingyu didnāt have the energy to reply. They slammed the door in front of him, and the second they were out of sight, Mingyu was laying on his back in defeat, tears forming in his eyes.
Wonwoo woke up on the floor, his head pounding as if someone was punching it over and over again from the inside. The blood from his wound had dried, and he was totally dazed at first, but once his eyes locked on the broken table in front of him, his memories flooded back.
Jun.
As if it was an instinct, Wonwoo stood up as fast as he could and rushed into your room, his panicked state only worsening when he noticed that you werenāt in there. He ran back to the living room, checking to see if youād taken anything with you. But, sure enough, your phone, your wallet, and your keys were all still in your bag, and it didnāt take Wonwoo long to figure out what had happened.Ā
Wonwoo bolted out the front door, feet moving faster than ever as he ran toward Junās house. Heād only been there a few times, and he barely remembered the way, but he tried his best to recall it. He quickly ran out of breath, but he didnāt stop, even as the setting sun nearly blinded him. As he slowed his pace to a jog, he noticed a familiar figure walking in his direction.
āMingyu!ā Wonwoo yelled. Mingyu noticed the older male and ran toward him. āWhere is she? What happened?ā Wonwoo demanded, a bit too suspicious that this whole situation had something to do with Mingyu.
āJun, he took her. I was just at his place and I checked all but one of the rooms on the second floor, they dragged me out before I could get to it.ā
āOkay? So we go back and check it! She has to be there!ā Wonwoo pushed past Mingyu, but Mingyu grabbed his wrist.Ā
āTheyāre not gonna let us in!ā Mingyu unintentionally raised his voice. āWeāve gotta get in some other way.ā
āOkay, and what way is that?ā
āI donāt know,ā Mingyu sighed, āIāve never been there. Thereās gotta be a window or something?āĀ
āYeah,ā Wonwoo nodded, āyeah thereās a lot on the second floor.ā
āSo we go back to my place, get the ladder from my garage, and go back there later, okay?ā Mingyu said calmly, and though he was hesitant, Wonwoo agreed.
āOkay, fineā¦ā an awkward silence fell between the two men as they stood on the concrete, the sky above them growing darker. āSo do we just⦠stay together until then?ā
āUh, yeah. I guess so.ā Mingyu shrugged. āCome on, weāll come back when itās dark out.ā Mingyu nodded his head in the direction of his house before he started walking. Wonwoo followed him without a word. He wasnāt Mingyuās biggest fan, as everyone knew, but he was yours, so if that meant having to spend an entire evening with Mingyu, he was all for it.Ā
The walk was silent, but when Mingyuās house came into view, Wonwoo was honestly happy that you had been staying there. It was far less depressing than your little apartment. The inside of the house was really nice, too, and Wonwoo suddenly felt bad that he couldnāt provide the same for you. No wonder youād picked Mingyuā¦
Your arms had gone numb from being tied to the chair, and though youād tried to fall asleep, you were in too uncomfortable of a position to do so. You knew the situation was worse than bad when you were almost excited to see Jun enter the room.
āShower time!ā he said happily, walking over to you with pep in his step. He bent down and untied the rope around your ankles, then walked behind you and untied your wrists. He held your arms back and began massaging them, an uneasy feeling coursing through your veins as he did. āIf you move them too fast youāll hurt yourself.ā he explained, almost kindly. You said nothing as he gripped your arms gently, slowly moving them down to a natural position. Once they were by your sides again, he massaged them a few more times before letting go of you. You thought about thanking him, but that seemed insanely inappropriate.Ā
āCan I get up?ā you asked, attitude evident in your tone.Ā
āOf course.ā he replied, gently pushing you out of the chair by the top of your back. You stood up hesitantly, throwing a dirty look over your shoulder as you began to walk out of the room. Jun kept his hand on the small of your back at all times as he guided you out of the room you were in and into the bathroom that was a few doors down.Ā
The bathroom was even nicer than Mingyuās. A small chandelier hung from the ceiling and the shower was so large that it had two shower heads instead of one, no curtains or doors in sight. You tried not to look impressed, given that you were being held hostage.Ā
āNice isnāt it? A friend of mine designed it.ā he told you casually, but you said nothing as you stood there, arms crossed over your chest. āEverything you need should be in there, but let me know if you need anything else.ā Jun pulled his phone out of his pocket before sitting down on the toilet seat. You furrowed your eyebrows.
āYouāre staying in here?ā you inquired, causing him to look up at you.Ā
āYeah.ā he shrugged as if it was normal. āThereās a window in there and I donāt want you getting any ideas.ā he smirked as if you were playing some sort of game.Ā
āIām not showering with you in here.ā you stated matter-of-factly.Ā
āYou can just take your clothes off in the shower, I wonāt even be able to see you.ā he explained. āThat is, unless you want me to see you?āĀ
āYouāre disgusting.ā you spit as you stepped into the shower, making sure that Jun couldnāt see any part of you before you started undressing. Once all of your clothes were off, you turned the water on and, much to your surprise, it was warm almost instantly. Admittedly, it felt nice. The water, the calm lighting, the luxurious bathroom. You just wish it was under any other circumstance.Ā
āHow is it?ā he asked kindly.Ā
āFine.ā you replied as you began washing your hair.Ā
āYou know I donāt have anything against you, right?āĀ
āYeah yeah, itās all about revenge on Mingyu. That still doesnāt make kidnapping me okay.ā
āWell, youāre an adult, so itās not really kid-napping, is it?ā he attempted to joke, but you just scoffed. You were not in the mood for jokes.Ā
He stayed quiet as you finished showering, conditioning your hair and using the bar of soap to cleanse your tired body. When you were done, you turned off the water and asked Jun for a towel, making sure to emphasize that you did not want him looking in the shower as he handed it to you, and you were only 99% sure that he didnāt.Ā
You dried your hair to the best of your ability before wrapping the towel around your body and picking up your discarded clothes from the corner of the shower. Jun obviously checked you out, but you tried to ignore his gaze.
āDo you wanna change here or in your room?ā Jun asked and you rolled your eyes.Ā
āMy room? Youāre joking right?āĀ
āI donāt know how long youāll be here, so you might as well get comfortable.ā you sighed, knowing that in some twisted way, he was right. āIf you change in here I wonāt look.āĀ
āOkay, then bring me clean clothes.ā you replied defensively. Jun seemed to have lost his cocky demeanor as he nodded and left you alone in the bathroom. You glanced over at the window, and though trying to climb out of it was a good idea, it looked a bit too small for you to fit through.Ā
Jun returned not even a minute later with barely anything in his hands, just a t-shirt that youād never seen before and a familiar pair of underwear in his hands. You rolled your eyes; you shouldāve known heād do something like that.
āReally? You rob my house to get clothes of mine to give me after you hold me hostage, then you give me a shirt thatās not even mine? Classy.ā you mocked as you snatched the clothes from his hands.Ā
āI-... Sorry, Iāll get you something else.ā he shook his head before leaving the bathroom once more. You stood in the warm room, confused, unable to comprehend what had just happened. He returned with a sweater and a pair of pajama pants, both of which you recognized as yours. He held them out to you and you took them hesitantly.Ā
āThanksā¦?āĀ
āIāll just... wait out here.ā he told you and left you alone in the bathroom once more. You definitely preferred nice Jun, but you were also confused by him. His behavior had changed so quickly, and his kindness somehow only made him seem more threatening.
You let out a sigh as you threw on the clothes, finally feeling decently comfortable after having showered and not tied to a chair. You turned off the light and opened the door, though as you went to walk out, you ran right into Junās back.Ā
āOh, sorry.ā you muttered, causing him to turn around.Ā
āNo worries.ā he shrugged with a small smile, āAfter you.ā he stepped out of your way and motioned in front of him as if to tell you to go in front of him. You gave him a weird look before leaving the bathroom and began making your way back to āyourā room. Jun followed closely behind you, but kept his hands to himself. You went to open the door, but the knob wouldnāt turn.
āUhā¦ā you turned over your shoulder and looked up at him.
āRight.ā he replied. You watched silently as he reached up on top of the doorframe, grabbing a key off of it before bringing his arm back down, smiling down at you as he did so. You gulped as he looked into your eyes, having forgotten that youād found the male attractive before you found out he was a stubborn, revenge-seeking, borderline psychopath.Ā
He put the key in the hole and turned it, and the door swung open after that. You walked in the room, and it looked much different than it did before. There were no chairs and no ropes, just a perfectly made bed and far too many lit candles scattered across the room, sitting upon various objects.Ā
āIs this your attempt at seducing me or something?ā you asked, a bit of distaste in your voice.Ā
āNot unless you want it to be.ā he replied suavely as he shut the door behind the two of you.Ā
āDefinitely not. Itās too cult-y.ā you told him as you sat on the bed, causing him to laugh a little bit. āWhy are you doing all this?āĀ
āI justā¦ā Jun sighed as he sat on the opposite end of the bed, āI know you think I have no empathy or whatever-ā
āYes that would be correct.ā you interrupted, and Jun rolled his eyes.Ā
āBut this isnāt anything against you, so I donāt want you to take it personally.ā
āRight,ā you scoffed. āBecause kidnapping me, keeping me as your prisoner, and slamming my best friendās head through a table isnāt supposed to be personal?ā you scooted closer to him, unable to believe how big his ego was. āAnd not to mention those kids that you, what, murdered? And why? Just to prove to Mingyu that youāre as big and bad as you used to be?ā You spit, looking right into his eyes. āYouāre despicable.ā your jaw was clenched, your teeth gritting together so hard you thought they might break.Ā
Jun looked hurt by your words, if hurt was even an emotion he was capable of feeling. He closed his eyes and started to say something, but stopped himself. He slowly pushed himself off of the bed and walked over to the door, his hand on the doorknob.
āIāll check on you in a bit.ā
āSo your plan is to⦠stab him?ā Wonwoo asked, not yet convinced that Mingyu had a solid plan. Mingyu sighed.Ā
āYou know that wooden stake to the heart vampire myth?ā Mingyu asked, and Wonwoo nodded. āWell, itās true. But, if you stake a vampire with a certain kind of wood, itāll paralyze them. They only stop being paralyzed once someone takes the stake out of them, so once we stake Jun, weāve just gotta put him somewhere where none of his little minions will be able to find him.ā Wonwoo nodded at Mingyuās explanation, thinking it seemed easy enough.
āWill two of us be enough to take him on? I mean, if he has... minions or something.āĀ
āNo, but Iāve got some of my friends coming over to go with us, so we should be fine.ā Mingyu replied, and right as he finished talking, the front door opened. āWait why is Seungkwan here?ā Mingyu asked, slightly upset, as he stood up. Seungkwanās expression fell at Mingyuās words.
āI-I just wanna help if I can, Y/Nās really nice.ā Seungkwan shrugged, a slight pout on his face.
āI tried getting him to stay home, but he wanted to come.ā Vernon shrugged.
āSeungkwan itās way too dang-ā
āAlready tried that.ā Vernon interrupted. āNot gonna work.āĀ
Mingyu sighed, putting the bridge of his nose in between his thumb and pointer finger.
āFine, the more the merrier I guess.ā he conceded. āBut if you die, itās not on me.āĀ
āUnderstood.ā Seungkwan nodded as he watched Mingyu approach Jeonghan.
āDid you bring it?ā he asked the older male.Ā
āYou know I did.ā Jeonghan said with a smirk on his face, taking a wooden box out of the bag on his shoulder. He opened it to reveal a simple looking wooden dagger, the end of it coming to a perfect point. Wonwoo watched everything unfold, jaw slightly agape. He felt like he was in a movie. āWho gets to do the honor?ā
āMingyu, obviously.ā Jihoon interjected.Ā
āFair enough.ā Jeonghans sighed. āHe always gets to have all the fun.ā he took the dagger out of the box and handed it to Mingyu.ā
āI donāt really consider this fun.ā Mingyu muttered as he tucked the dagger into his back pocket. āAre we taking your car?ā he directed toward Jeonghan, and Jeonghan nodded. āThen letās go.ā
Wonwoo felt a bit lost, though he felt a little better when Seungkwan approached him. The younger male didnāt say anything, just put a comforting hand on Wonwooās shoulder and walked out of the house with him.Ā
Mingyu exited the house through the garage, while everyone else left through the front door. Mingyu grabbed his unusually large ladder and a few bungee cords, then met the others out by Jeonghanās car. Mingyu and Vernon quickly secured the ladder to the roof of the car before cramming themselves inside of it. Due to the lack of room, Vernon ended up on Seungkwanās lap, causing Seungkwan to casually wrap his arms around his partnerās waist.
āWhen we get there, weāve gotta move fast, alright? I donāt know how much time weāll have.ā Mingyu instructed the group.
āIāll climb the ladder.ā Wonwoo interjected, surprising himself, and everyone else.Ā
āDude, do you wanna die?ā Jihoon asked from the front seat. āJunās old as shit and he feeds on humans, he could snap you in half.āĀ
āI donāt care, itās Y/N.ā Wonwoo argued seriously. But he knew the stranger talking to him from the front of the car was right. It didnāt matter who saved you as long as they got you back alive and breathing. āBut if I donāt go then who does?āĀ
āJeonghanās probably the strongest since heās the oldest, but if sheās up there I just-ā Mingyu stopped himself. He was going to go on about how if you were up there, but they couldnāt get you out, he wanted to at least see you. Just once. Though he knew Wonwoo was in the same boat, and as much as he hated that fact, he couldnāt be that selfish. āJeonghan will you go?āĀ
āYou know it, Gyu.ā Jeonghan said as he put the car into drive and set off to Junās house. The ride was short, tense, and silent. The only time anyone spoke was when Mingyu whispered a short āItās gonna be fineā to Wonwoo, who clearly needed the reassurance.Ā
Wonwooās hands perspired as they pulled up to the ominous looking house, all of the windows having been covered by curtains from the inside. Jeonghan parked across the street from the house in an empty driveway as to draw as little attention to themselves as possible. Taking the ladder off of the top of the car was a little conspicuous, but other than that, they just seemed like a group of guys hanging out.Ā
After everyone had gotten out of the car, they quickly ran across the street to where Junās house was. Mingyu, knowing that all but one of the rooms didnāt have you in it, guided the group to the window of the one room he never got to see the inside of.Ā
āIām gonna go up behind you, okay?ā Mingyu said to Jeonghan as the men swiftly set up the ladder. The older male simply nodded before he started climbing. āYou guys keep a lookout.ā Mingyu demanded as he started up the ladder as well.Ā
Jeonghan wasted no time in opening the window (that for some odd reason wasnāt locked) and pulling back the curtains. The men on the ground watched intensely as he looked around the room and were instantly confused as to why he wasnāt climbing into the house. Jeonghan pulled his head out of the window and looked down at his hopeful friends.
āSheās not in thereā¦ā he uttered, almost unable to believe it even after seeing the empty room.
āWh⦠What do you mean sheās not in there?ā Mingyu asked from the middle of the ladder, his heart falling into his stomach.
āI mean sheās not in there!ā Jeonghan yelled as both him and Mingyu started climbing down the ladder.
Wonwoo couldnāt explain what he was feeling if he tried. He thought theyād come so close to finding you, he thought he was so close to seeing you safe and sound again, and you werenāt even there. His heart was heavy as tears brimmed in his eyes.
Mingyu, on the other hand, was purely enraged.
āIf sheās not here, then where the fuck is she?ā Mingyu asked the group, his jaw clenched.Ā
Everyone just stood around awkwardly, silently. Everyone was upset, and for the most part, no one could think of the right words to say. That was, until Seungkwan spoke up.
Heey, now that the whole mingyu mess is cleared, do you plan on keep writing hunger??
i do!! however my new series already has some chapters written so i plan on posting on a schedule, whereas with hunger i can't post until i finish a chapter and sometimes that takes me a while! i just want to have something to post so that's why i'm going to start uploading the new series next week :)
some of you had asked about my job as a busser before and i'm just here to say that i'm quitting tomorrow!!
i'm not a very big or strong person and there's a lot of heavy lifting involved, so it's taken a toll on me physically, and there's plenty of aspects that have taken a toll on me mentally. when i'm not working, i'm doing nothing, in preparation for the mental and physical strength i'll need to have when i am working, and it's a truly exhausting process.
i'm looking for another job now, hopefully one that won't be nearly as taxing, and when i find it i really hope i can start writing again. to any of you who miss me posting, i'm so sorry, but i'm still here and hope to be posting regularly again soon.

hi! i only have 3 things in the works rn :) one is a full on fic (that i'm not giving details on cause i want it to be a surprise ;D) and a short little mingyu fluff drabble!!
hunger is still in the works as well, i'll be posting random imagines that weren't requested here and there, and there's also a few requests i'm considering writing but haven't started on yet!!
when i'm not busy with work and/or trading and selling pc's and albums and stuff (you wouldn't think it's stressful but it can be lol), i'm pretty tired and sometimes unmotivated so that's why i've been so slow š„ŗ
there's some requests i've decided not to write, but there's a few that i want to start on but am waiting to finish other things first :)) if you want to resend your request just in case i wouldn't mind at all!

hi everyone i have a job now so i'm pretty busy and if i'm not busy i'm tired šš so i'll probably be pretty slow with posting, but i'll do my best to upload whenever i can!!

hoooowever ;D, i'm a few chapters into a new series and i'm planning on uploading the teaser and first chapter when i hit 1,000!! hopefully, i'll have lots of it done by then and can upload on a schedule instead of sporadically!!! woohoo!!!
hii can i request a mutual pining fluff where you and your friend wonwoo get caught in the rain and he gets cold easily so you try to keep him warm by hugging him while you both seek shelter at a bus stop <3 and if you donāt mind it being a bit longer, maybe he gets sick after so you go over to take care of him and it ends with the 2 of you cuddling because the blankets arenāt warm enough
ok so i didn't write it EXACTLY and for that i am sorry š but here she is i hope u like it!!!!
āWell jokeās on you because thereās no way in hell I could stop thinking about you even if I wanted to.ā WOAHHHH :O that line hits so hard, my jaw full-on dropped!!! i loved wonwoo in this chapter omg im on the edge of my seat and cant wait for the next part, thank you !
