Emma never ceases to surprise Regina

When Emma saved Regina from the fire, Regina threw a “WTF! Aren’t we supposed to be rivals? WHY are you saving me?” look towards Emma.

Then Emma went on to protect Regina “she’s not dying”… Regina be like “EH? Seriously?”

Then Regina found out that Emma was not just the savior but also a freakin magician.

Then Emma decided to use her magical abilities to assist Regina and save Storybrooke. “You may not be strong enough, but maybe we are” seemingly struck a cord in her.

Then Emma gave Regina a chance to lead the mission to save Henry.

Then Emma chose to believe in Regina cuz she can always tell when she’s lying anyway. This meant a lot to Regina who’s so used to ppl expecting the worst from her.

Then Emma declared “I’m in too… no matter what it means for both of us.” Regina thought she was protecting Emma but she never saw that one coming.

And lastly in the season 4 finale, Emma sacrificed herself for Regina’s happiness. This was the first time someone had ever done something like that for Regina (I believe those were Lana’s words)… hence the apparent shock on her face.

Regina’s probably thinking ‘I don’t know whether to be horrified or amazed. After everything we’ve done to protect you… you’re either the biggest idiot or the bravest woman I know’

Regardless of how Adam and Eddy feel about LGBTQ+, I find it hard to believe that they don’t realize how influential they could be as writers… Their show has an opportunity to literally go down in history as the first Disney affiliated lesbian love story- that’s HUGE! Everyone knows it: If Emma and Regina were together, Adam and Eddy would have the spotlight thrown onto them and their work; they would be interviewed countless times, and they would be talked about decades after decades from now… Their names would be attached to an unforgettable story! Their characters would be referenced forever… So, really, I don’t see why they WOULDN’T make Swan Queen happen. It not only makes so much sense for Emma and Regina to be together, but Adam and Eddy would be doing such an incredible thing for their own careers. How could- and why would- anyone pass that opportunity up?
