Pinocchio and Ylfa antagonizing Gerard like he’s their tired older brother will never not be funny to me

murph vs dice: part 9876543567
You guys. Emily Axford is just so multi talented and so human.
Like look at all her dnd characters and the incredible arcs they go through. The real, raw emotion she portrays with each one. The complete understanding of who her character is and the roll they play in that world. The relationships her character has and how each one is deep and unique.
Her music always tells a story. Each song feels “unfinished”, but that’s because musically most of them are missing that final “conclusion” chord? It leaves you with the feeling that there’s more. There’s more coming, there’s more life, there’s more than just that song, that moment. There’s always more…
She studied religion?? She went to school to learn what makes the world tick. How religion is the foundational pillar to so many societies and explains how communities function and treat others. People often define themselves by their religious beliefs, and she took the time to study it in depth. To understand people.
Honestly what a fucking incredible human being. Everything she does feels real and genuine and so raw and connected. I think that’s why I admire her and her work so much. Her heart is bared in everything she does, and she shows that she’s just so human. I don’t know how else to describe it
Reality shatters.
celebrating the neverafter finale with some new art :)) {available on my redbubble}
zac and murph despairing in sync is the funniest part of neverafter
Intern: Sir, I’m sorry that this has taken so long, but I finally have all the research you wanted in regards to the traits the fans find sexy about their romance interests in Baldur’s Gate 3…
Gaming magazine executive: Oh, excellent! Not to worry, I assume it will all line up as expected. The Karlach fans love her bursting friendliness and positivity, her strength, her passion for life and her gorgeous smile, yes?
Intern: That’s correct, sir.
Gaming magazine executive: The Halsin fans love that he’s a gentle giant who cares greatly about children, that he likes to whittle adorable ducks as a hobby, and that he’s a consent king who will be a passionate lover for his partner, right?
Intern: All spot-on sir.
Gaming magazine executive: *smirking* This is too easy. Ok, on to Gale! The Gale fans love that he’s got a smoking hot six pack, that he offers wild illusions of astral sex, AND, at the end of the game, that he’s able to redeem himself and become Mystra’s chosen again, OR, become a god and ascend his partner to godhood with him, correct?
Intern: No.
Gaming magazine executive: Now, as for—what?
Intern: That’s not what the Gale fans find sexy, sir.
Gaming magazine executive: …oh. Okay. What do they like, then?
Intern: They, ah…they like that he…info dumps. They like when he starts talking passionately and goes off on a tangent with his finger in the air.
Gaming magazine executive: …no, they don’t. That’s—that’s not sexy.
Intern: They really think it is, sir. Please don’t make me tell you how I know that.
Gaming magazine executive: O-kay…but they like that he has a redemption arc and redeems himself in Mystra’s eyes, right?
Intern: Sir, if I were to repeat the things they want to do to Mystra I would be thrown in jail.
Gaming magazine executive: I—do they even know that he says pish-posh in the game? Twice?
Intern: They love that, sir. They wish he said it more.
Gaming magazine executive: You’re lying.
Intern: I’m really not, sir.
Gaming magazine executive: Alright, fine, but…do they know about his bad knees? They must hate how he complains about his bad knees? NOBODY would find that sexy.
Intern: *a pained expression on his face, rubbing at the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes* Sir, you’re not going to believe this—

Gale imploring you to understand why he wants the crown and all its power… and then saying “you would really prefer me as I am?” when you tell him you just want him gets me every time. This man with his towering self confidence and crippling self doubt. 😭
Baldur’s Gate 3 is really showing me that my deepest fantasy is someone telling me that my kindness made a difference to them and they’re better for it. 😭😭😭
With all this negativity I'm seeing I want to say something positive.
I love how Larian listens to fan feedback. How, for instance, they changed Raphael's hair color to black then put it in reverse asap because of fan discontent. Hilarious 😂 How they added a way to get Minthara in a non-evil party. How they added the Halsin romance due to fans asking them for it!
I love the passion they poured into the game and how utterly beautiful and moving and well written it is. How many choices there are. How many secrets and treasures we the players can unearth every playthru.
Larian obviously has such a passion and a love for what they've created. It's disheartening seeing people ridicule them and be so intensely negative with the feedback theyre giving.
Larian listens, guys. It's been proven time and again, they hear us. I have faith they will take into account what is lacking (especially with companion story lines). I certainly do not think this game is done being improved upon and added to.
Just, please, have faith in them. They deserve that much after coming thru and creating the best RPG I've ever played.
'shart always misses her attacks or fails concentration saves she's so bad for anything but heals'
i am taking your and shadowheart's hands and guiding you to both withers. now talk to him as shart and hand over 100 gold to 'change class'.
good. now, you see where it says 'high elf cantrip'? go to that and change it to something that isn't an attack but a utility spell, like blade ward or mage hand. she always misses with her fire bolt because it scales off her INT, but she's a WIS caster.
now change her domain. sorry, but trickery is doody in this game. i reccomend light domain for if you want her to be Extra killing things, or life for healing and support. (and if youre on pc, i reccomend getting the 5e clerics mod and switching her to twilight domain. she gets an ability to fly)
now go to her cleric cantrips. you see sacred flame? yeah swap it for something else that you think is useful. it's based on a DEX saving throw which is annoyingly something the npcs often succeed on unless that specific stat is really bad. i like swapping it to light for act 2 utility.
okay now you see her abilities? she doesn't need all that charisma. lower that and put the extra points into her CON instead.
good, we're almost done. now, when you get to level 4, she will get a feat. pick War Caster.
she is complete. now go forth, have her cast spirit guardians on herself, and run around like a lethal beyblade.
Maybe it's just my proximity to middle age, but for my money, Halsin is the most attractive romanceable character in BG3 by a mile. He's kind. He's courteous. He takes responsibility for his mistakes and undertakes to fix them without roping you into a bunch of drama about it and then goes on to help you save the world just because he likes you. He's a leader with a healthy ambivalence about leadership. He's effectively an eco-socialist with deep and abiding convictions about the treatment of the underprivileged, especially children. He is passionately romantic about you while also decrying the constraints and jealousies compulsory monogamy. AND he's built like a brick shithouse and will fuck your brains out. I'm just not seeing what's not to love about this man.
