You and Fraser didn’t even notice what day it was. You were living in a bubble of pure happiness. A week ago, you finally moved to his apartment in Boston. You two met in Toronto and since that time you’ve been dating. Now, you were able to move here to be together. 

Fraser noticed the comments from his friends but he ignored them. He thought they’re just joking about his post. He returned to watching a love island with you. He couldn’t believe that you’re finally here and not far away in a different country. From time to time he was squeezing your arm to make sure you’re really here and it’s not a dream. 

The next morning you were standing in the kitchen, making Fraser a daily oatmeal. He was always repeating to you that you’re a pro in this and loved when you were making them for him. He walked into the kitchen and immediately smelled the banana and cinnamon. 

“Oh I love you” Fraser kissed your cheek. 

“Here’s your tea. I made you a mint one with honey, hope that’s fine” You smiled. 

“It’s great” Fraser took a sip. You placed a bowl with his breakfast in front of him. 

“I used lactose free since you stopped buying regular ones just because of my sensitive stomach” You joked. 

“I don’t think there’s any difference between them” Fraser laughed. “Thank you” 

“Eat, you have a training in like an hour” You said and disappeared in the bathroom. 

Fraser looked at his instagram post and smiled. He was happy that he could share his love with the world. He wanted to add pictures where he could show your beautiful face but you were scared of the comments that you might get. You were aware that he had many fangirls and you didn’t want to face any hate. 

When Fraser walked into the locker room, everyone was joking. He was confused about what was so funny until Mason appeared by his side. 

“Here we have our little prankster” Mason threw his arm around Fraser’s shoulder.

“What?” Fraser was confused. 

“Your post. Almost made me believe you’re dating someone” Lukas laughed. 

“But I’m really dating someone” Fraser fought back. 

“Sure thing lover boy” Mason said. 

“Why none of you believe me?” Fraser was mad. Mason looked at him and he saw that he’s genuinely confused. 

“Wait, you don’t know what date was yesterday?” Mason asked him. 

“No” Fraser said angrily. 

“Yesterday was april fools. We thought that you’re pranking us” Mason said. Fraser’s face went from mad to shocked. 

“So that my friends were chirping at me in the comments” Fraser said but didn’t mean to say it so loud. 

“You’re really dating someone?” Lukas asked. 

“Yeah. Her name is Y/N and we met back in Toronto. A week ago, she moved to Boston and we’re finally together” Fraser said with the biggest smile. 

“We need to meet her soon” Mason told him. 

On the ride back home, Fraser was laughing to himself. He looked like a maniac driving and laughing but he couldn’t believe that he announced to the world that he’s in a relationship on april fools. He walked into the apartment with a big smile. 

“What’s so funny?” You asked him and kissed his cheek. 

“I hard launched our relationship on april fools” Fraser told you. 

“No way” You looked at him. 

“Check the date” You looked at your phone and saw 2 April. You looked back at Fraser and laughed. “Only you could do this” 

“I don’t even know how I haven’t noticed it. I was so excited to post these photos that it didn’t come through my mind that it’s april already” Fraser looked at you. “But I don’t regret anything. You’re real and not some prank for shit and giggles. You’re my dream girl” He kissed you. 

“You’re gonna be chirped for that” You laughed. 

“I am already. It was hell in the morning” Fraser said. “Also, the guys want to meet you” 

“We can host them after the roadie” You proposed. 

“Great” Fraser kissed your forehead. “Now, excuse me. I have to do something” 

You looked at him with confusion when Fraser went to the living room. He was doing something on his phone but you didn’t really care about it. You returned to organizing the fridge since he bought plenty of things when you moved here and threw them there without any idea or plan where what thing should be.

“I love you too” You ran with your hand through Fraser’s hair.

Nervous (in a good way)

masterlist pairing: Sam Dickinson x fem!reader summary: Sam almost failed a class but this event lead him to meeting you and wanting to be with you warning: none

You and Sam were attempting the same classes in high school. He was so keen on hockey that he almost failed history. The teacher recommended him to ask you for help with a project and studying for an exam that was coming up. When his eyes laid on you, he was happy to do it. You gladly agreed to help him with this.

It started with weekly study dates. Super fast you became friends and have been hanging out almost every single day. You two developed feelings for each other but you told Sam that you’re not ready to get into a relationship. He was disappointed but made this his mission to prove himself to you. 

Sam never thought that failing class could bring him to the love of his life but he was thankful for that. You two were coming from different worlds but you shared the same feelings and could understand each other without words. That was the only thing that counted for you. 

You said your house wasn’t far, “So come over”

You and Sam were coming back from the date. However it was still an early hour so he proposed to go to his house. You weren't sure about this idea. You haven’t been dating and wanted to take it slowly and see when it leads you. That’s why you tried to avoid hanging out at his place. 

Sam saw your reaction and quickly said that no one was there because his roommates went out for dinner. After debating, you agreed. You went to his place and as a real gentleman, he opened the door for you. You didn’t do anything special. He played a movie and you spent two hours commenting on every scene. 

When the movie ended, Sam proposed to walk you home. It was almost midnight and you knew that he had training tomorrow so he had to wake up early. You declined and said that you can go back home by yourself but he wasn’t too certain about letting you go at night. He insisted, almost begging you. You knew there’s no point in arguing so you just nodded and let him go with you.

And the boys before loved to play their games

You had feelings for Sam. You appreciated him and all the things he was doing for you. You’ve never been in a relationship and were scared to trust him fully and label what’s between you two. He understood that and didn’t push you. He was waiting for the moment when you’ll be ready. 

Your trust issues were coming from all the guys you used to flirt with last year. You were opening for them but they always left you without a word when they became bored. You felt like you were just a part of a game for other guys. That's why you closed your heart and didn’t want to repeat it again. With Sam, it felt different, but you needed time. 

Yeah, you make me nervous

But in a good way

You felt so natural in Sam’s company. Nothing was forced and he was easy to talk with. You loved sharing your interests with him knowing that he doesn’t have a clue about them. He always listened to your stories with passion and asked you questions. At first, you were shy when he was asking you about everything but with time, you found it cute. You finally felt appreciated.

Sometimes, it made you nervous when you were around him. Sam had a great memory and he would ask you about things you mentioned to him weeks earlier. Many times, you were taken aback because you thought that he was asking you out of politeness but he genuinely cared about you and you stories. In those moments, you knew that he’s the right guy for you. 

I put my head on your chest 

And I felt your heart racing

One night, Sam came to you after his match. You were surprised to see him in front of your door but also was delighted that he trusted you enough to show up. It was a tough loss and you were willing to help him get over it. He laid in your bed and you did the same. You played a movie but when he hadn't said a word, you knew it was a really bad game because he was always yapping during movies.

You haven’t been touchy. Sam didn’t want to throw himself into your personal space and you didn’t want to ruin the dynamic. This time, you risked it and cuddled into him. He gladly hugged you. You put your head on his chest and focused on his breath. You’ve been laying in your bed cuddling and watching a movie. After a couple of minutes, he thanked you for this. You hadn’t said anything, only clinged into him. 

I can make you nervous 

But in a good way

Sam never was a shy guy. He was outgoing and willing to make new friends but with you, it felt different. When you were giving him compliments after his games, he was blushing. From other people it felt normal but the moment you said it, he got all red. You meant the world to him and it felt unreal for him to hear those things from your mouth. 

His friends saw the effect you had on Sam. They knew that he fell hard for you because they never saw him this shy and nervous. It wasn’t uncommon for Sam to giggle after receiving messages from you. They were happy that he finally found someone who made him this way and hoped for them to work out. 

My cheeks turn red, ‘cause I get shy

With time, you opened to Sam. You were grateful for having him and you’ve been spending plenty of nights talking. He always found time for you in his busy schedule. His favorite thing was giving you compliments, pep talks and gifts. He loved seeing you so shy but what he loved the most was the way your cheeks were turning red from his affection towards you.

The first time when Sam asked you out on a date, you were all red. You didn’t expect that and you tried to somehow cover. He laughed at this sight, making a mental note at your reaction. This was the view he wanted to see every day. In that moment, he fell for you just by seeing how you reacted to him. None of the girls ever reacted this way and he knew that you’re special. 

You start to stutter, can’t find your words

After the draft, Sam knew he had to ask you to be official. He didn’t want to lose you when he’d moved out. That’s why he planned a date in your favorite spot. He was nervous, not really sure if you would agree. He knew the risk of a long distance relationship but he needed you by his side. This whole year proved to him that you’re made for him.

On the date, Sam was a bundle of nerves. He didn’t know what to do or say. In casual situations, it was easier for him but he knew you deserved a princess treatment. When he saw you in a dress entering the restaurant, he was at a loss for words. He swore that he never saw such a beautiful woman. 

Sam couldn’t find the proper words to compliment you and was looking at you with love in his eyes. You felt nervous when he hadn’t spoken to you, thinking that you’re looking bad but you pushed the thoughts and started asking about his draft. He felt like he was ripped out of trance. From this moment, everything went smoothly until he knew that he needed to ask the question.

Sam started talking about their friendship and how grateful he was for meeting you. You were looking at him expecting the worst, but when he asked you to be his girlfriend, you froze. After a couple of nervous seconds, you agreed. You knew that he’s the best guy for you.

The Fraser fic is delicious but so sad, I was in tears at the end and the last sentence? A killer. You're so good in this genre and even if it's pain to read, it's worth it !!!

A break

masterlist pairing: Nico Hischier x fem!reader summary: Nico announced that he's going on vacation for the break, assuming that you're working but he doesn't know that you took week off from work to spend time with him warning: miscommunication

You picked up Nico when he returned from Montreal. It was the last game before a national team break. Since he didn't get called up, you thought that the two of you would spend a whole week together. When the two of you got back to the apartment, you noticed that he’s packing his suitcase. This looked suspicious because he didn't mention going anywhere.

“What are you doing?” You asked Nico. He closed the gap between the two of you and kissed your forehead.

“I’m packing because tomorrow I’m going with the guys to Mexico” Nico said casually and returned to packing. 

“You didn’t say anything earlier” You replied trying to cover hurt in your voice. 

“I didn’t plan it honestly but on the flight back home me and the guys decided to do something instead of sitting here. You have work anyways so I didn’t bother you with this” Nico shrugged. 

“So you just decided to leave without saying anything? Very kind of you” You said with sarcasm. Nico sighed loudly.

“Look, it’s not a big deal, you have work so I don’t see a point in sitting here bored and waiting for you to return every single day, I think I can go for a little vacation or are you gonna act possessive now?” You couldn’t believe in his words. 

“I’m not gonna act possessive but it would be nice to know about it earlier” You crossed your arms on your chest.

“Everything’s been paid so deal with it” Nico said nonchalantly and you could feel the anger boiling inside of you. Instead of arguing with him, you decided to drop it.

“Whatever” You turned to go to the bathroom before you spoke again. “And for your information, I took a week off from work so we can spend time together” With that, you slammed the bathroom door.

“Well if you would have told me this earlier, I would stay” Nico screamed so you could hear him. You rolled your eyes and started preparing a bath for yourself. You needed to rest and rethink what just happened.

In your opinion, you did nothing wrong and Nico is guilty. You wanted to spend time with him since he doesn’t have training and games and he decided to leave you. Even worse is that he didn’t bother to invite you to go with him, not knowing if you’re working or not. He’s blaming you for this whole mess. You laid in the bath longer than usual because you didn’t want to face him. 

Nico didn’t see a problem in his decision to go for a little trip. It’s his free week and he can do whatever he wants. He’s seeing you every single day and he has a full right to go and see his family and friends. In fact, he thought that it’s all your fault. If you told him earlier that you took a week off from work, he would stay in New Jersey. He returned to packing, not even bothered that you’re sitting in the bathroom for the second hour. 

You left the bathroom, still mad at him and ignored his presence. Nico did the same. The minute you left the bathroom, he went in to take a shower. You went to the kitchen to eat something before going to sleep. You prepared yourself mac’n’cheese and didn’t even bother to make one for him. You knew it’s petty but in your thinking, he deserved it. 

You returned to the bedroom and went straight to bed. You saw that Nico was still in the bathroom and sighed deeply. You didn’t want to argue with him over something so silly but at the same time, you didn’t want to admit that he’s right and had full right to go for a vacation. You closed your eyes and tried to get some sleep. Nico left the bathroom and saw that you’re facing the window and even when he knew that you’re not sleeping, he decided to play your game. Without a word, he laid in the bed and fell asleep.

The next morning you woke up and saw that there’s an empty spot in your bed and the whole apartment is quiet. You stepped out to go and make yourself a cup of tea and notice that Nico left. You send him a quick message. 

Very mature to leave without even bothering to say bye

You were well aware that you’re overreacting but you couldn’t help. You were mad over this whole situation. You drank your tea and decided to get ready for the day. You called your friend to meet up with her. That was the last time you checked your phone for the day. Since Nico left you, you didn’t want to have contact with him or anyone else and thought that maybe a break would be nice for the two of you to figure things out. You left your phone at home and decided to enjoy the day with your friend. 

Nico read your messages and laughed. He knew how petty you can get so he wasn’t even bothered by it. He blocked his phone and returned to the conversation he had with his friends. 

“What’s so funny?” Timo asked. 

“Me and Y/N had an argument yesterday and she sent me a text that I should pray that she’ll be in the apartment when I return” Nico chuckled. 

“That sounds serious, what was the argument about?” Jonas asked.

“Oh, it’s nothing. She’s just mad that I flew to Mexico for my break and didn’t told her earlier. Later she said something about taking a week off from work, thinking that I would be feeling guilty” Nico shrugged 

“If she has a free week, why didn’t you bring her with you here?” Timo asked and the realization hit Nico. He didn’t even think about this scenario. He left you alone in New Jersey. His face lost all the colors when he realised it. Jonas quickly noticed this.

“You didn’t ask her. You didn’t even think about inviting her here” Jonas said and he nodded ashamed of the situation. Nico knew that he messed up real good now. 

“I need to call her” Nico excused himself and went to his room. He called you 5 times but he couldn’t reach you. All the bad scenarios were going through his head. 

What if you really left him?

Nico knew he had to do something about it. He returned to the living room and asked.

“Timo, can I use your phone?” Without a doubt, Timo gave him his phone and Nico tried to call you. Again, he couldn’t reach you. “I think I need to get back and save my relationship” Nico replied and left again.

He booked a flight for tomorrow’ morning and prayed to see you there when he gets back to the apartment. He started to think about the argument you two had and he knew that he was the one who’s wrong. He should invite you when you told him that you took a week off to spend time with him. 

Around 9PM, you finally got back home. You spent a wonderful day with your friend where you drank overpriced coffee, ate the best seafood boil that you could find in New Jersey and had a couple drinks. You went straight to the bathroom to take a shower and lay in your bed. You needed sleep after all the adventures you had today. Because you left your phone in the kitchen in the morning, you forgot to check it when you returned. It was your worry for tomorrow, today was all about you.

The next day when you woke up, you went straight to the kitchen. You grabbed your phone and saw 30 missed calls from Nico, 10 from Timo and over 100 messages from him and his friends. You started feeling guilty that you ignored them and quickly tried to call back to Nico. He didn’t answer the phone and you felt that it’s over between the two of you. The fact that you left your phone at home yesterday was his final straw and he’s gonna break up with you. 

Tears were falling from your eyes while you were making tea and didn’t even hear that someone entered the apartment. You were too deep in your head thinking about what are you gonna do. You and Luke had been together for the past 3 years and now it’s over. 

Nico entered the house and the first thing he heard was you crying. At first he sighed, relieved that you’re at home but then he realised that you’re crying. Quickly he dropped his suitcase and ran to hug you. You screamed in panic but then you recognized the strong grip. 

“Don’t cry, please don’t cry” Nico tried to calm you down and it was working. He was smothering your hair, whispering sweet things into your ear. When you finally cooled down, you spoke.

“What are you doing here? I thought you’re in Mexico” You wiped your cheeks and looked at him.

“I was but the guys made me realise that I messed up. I tried to reach you but you didn’t answer your phone so I decided to return and sort things out between us. I don’t want you to think that I’m choosing my friends over you. I’ll always choose you” Nico looked deeply into your eyes while he said the last sentence. 

“Sorry that I didn’t answer the phone calls from you. I left my phone at home yesterday when I went out and after I got back home, I completely forgot to check it. I did it this morning and tried to call you but you didn’t pick up and I thought that you’re breaking up with me” You hugged him and he kissed the top of your head. 

“I would never break up with you. I didn’t answer because I was already under the building apartment” Nico kissed your head again. “Sorry for all the misunderstanding, I should tell you about me leaving when I…” 

“Stop. You have nothing to apologise for. I was wrong for being mad that you want to spend time with your friends. It was a bad call and I deeply regret it. Sorry for ruining your free week and that you couldn’t spend time with them” You said. 

“We both messed up but that’s why we love each other right?” Nico joked and you giggled.

“True. I love you” You tiptoed and kissed his lips. 

“How about I'll take you on a nice dinner today and you’ll tell me about yesterday?” Nico smiled at you.

“Okay and sorry again for ruining your trip. That was the last thing I wanted to do” You felt guilty for this whole mess and it was bothering you that Nico dropped everything just to see if everything’s alright between the two of you. 

“Everything’s fine baby. As long as we’re good, it was worth it” Nico smiled at you and you hugged him again.

as i was working on couple of my rewriting fics i realised that i jumped on the train where i want to please people instead of doing something that's fun for me. don't get me wrong i love everything i posted but i need to get back to my roots. i need to get back to the genre that makes me feel good and that's angst stories. my whole life is an angst and i feel the best in writing heartbreaking things and posting "empty house" proved me this. that's why i'll be focusing more on this type of fics and not something sweet and cosy. sure, if i'll get a request with fluff or smut i'll happily write it but from my own, original work it's gonna more angst
