I. Canāt stop. Thinking of power imbalance Puremilk. This is just sort of a drabble/rant addressing how & why that imbalance would come to be (imho)
After PVās awakening, he becomes much more in tune with his power and even surprises himself with what heās capable of. Smilk is absolutely furious about it because he, as a primeval beast who wields ancient abilities, should be more powerful. Itās only right. Except for the fact he was sealed away for eons and was in fact not blessed with an awakening but rather cursed with corruption, which probably took a toll on his power, but never-mind that. Still, he can obviously cause mass destruction and destroy a kingdomāitās just that now, awakened, PV could stop him; destroy him, even. After all, PVās awakened form manifested itself solely to defeat Smilk (at least in Smilkās eyes), and it did so quite easily. Quickly. Awakened PV was āmadeā to overpower Smilk, to demolish him if it so desired. It was a blessing.
The only thing really holding PV back is his profoundly gentle nature and his belief that Smilk can be redeemed. That and his unreal patience. He doesnāt desire to hurt Smilk, and the thought hardly ever crosses his mind. But he could. Even if he might not be fully aware of the extent to which he could. He doesnāt plan on testing it out.
