Your pentiment-style drawings are amazing! What brushes did you use? I'd love to know!

for lineart: i've found that the lineart brush doesn't really matter—i just use what's most comfortable. for the conclave drawings i used the RSCO dry fountain pen, and for bavarian miku i think it was a kraftone inker. if you want to imitate the pentiment style, the more important thing is going back over the lineart to get an aged, distressed look; i do this by erasing/coloring bits of lineart with the RSCO pouncer brush (but i'm sure any spotty, textured brush will do).

for coloring: default water brush in procreate 👍🏻

Very excited to announced that Palimpsest: A Pentiment Zine is now available for download on itch.io!

This zine has been a labor of love, and features 60+ pages of art and writing put together by 40 contributors and moderators. The zine is pay-what-you want, and all proceeds will be going to Librarians and Archivists with Palestine.
