For past months, I have basically been submersed by internship and school tasks, since I am graduating in a month. I have not even opened The Sims 3 for a month or maybe two. This week I would have had time to reward myself with plenty of quality time with my sims. However, my desktop almost died in weekend and is still in critical state. Now I don't want to play just to lose my lovely sims saves due to irrepairable crash. Formatting computer on weekend, which means installing sims with expansions and mods again, installing modding tools again,... Everytime I fall inlove with my sims, something happens and I end up reinstalling game. Can I or should even try to bring my saves back to life after reinstalling? I don't even know forsure how this could be done?

I am working on a couple of outfits for The Sims 3 with new meshes. Since I am still very much a beginner in meshing, all of my ideas will never become reality due to problems that I do not have skills (or patience) to fix. Due to this, I am spending time with lost causes. Currently I am working on a difficult project but I deffinately don't want to abandon it. Hopefully you will see the end result some day.

Unfortunately, I have not had at all time for games within the last month. Since I am graduating at the end of the semester actually over a year earlier than average student, it means I have to work extra hard to finish the remaining studies. I am currently doing full time internship and finishing of my thesis on my free time. This means no time for The Sims 3. I might reward myself today with a bit of game play, but I don't expect to have time for finishing my creative projects. I will get back to creating as soon as I can.

I was planning to release this romantic dress for Valentine's Day, but I did not have enough of time during week to finalize the design, package it and have a photo-shoot with my models. I might have been ready with this design earlier, but I wanted to make it available for expectant mothers too. When I saw the dress on my pregnant model, I was happy that I did not release it earlier. The dress looks so cute with pregnant tummy!

Again, I have done limited amount of testing with this dress, so please inform me if you encounter any problems with this or if it does not work properly etc. The dress is available for only young adult and adult females in everyday and formal categories. It is enabled for maternity wear as well. The design has four recolorable designs, and comes with the three color variations shown in the main picture. In the picture showing the channels, I give some ideas for recoloration. It is base game compatible. The download includes the file in both .sim3pack and .package formats, as well as picture and text document with info.

I have been fiddling with different meshes in Milkshape this week. Finding good meshes that are suitable for a planned project is somewhat difficult. I've had to scrap a couple of ideas because of technical difficulties. Maybe when I have more advanced skills I can revisit some of these ideas, but now I need to select carefully the things I will attempt.

This cute dress is my latest project. I did run into some challenges while working on this, but I have managed to find solutions. I still have many steps to go, so there might be still some suprises along the way. However, I am feeling quite confident.

I managed to fix the small mask issues that I noticed while testing it in The Sims 3. Due to minor flaws in this top, I was actually hesitating to release it at this point. Since I am a perfectionist, the flaws might be visible only to me. I have done very limited amount of testing with this shirt and this is my first released mesh alteration, so please inform me if you encounter any problems with this or if it does not work properly etc.

The blouse is available for young adult and adult females. Although my models are showing different pattern variations of the blouse, I have only included the plain white one with the mesh. It has two channels, i.e. the buttons and the fabric parts. It is base game compatible. The download includes the file in both .sim3pack and .package formats.

I started working on this cute blouse yesterday and I am finally testing it in The Sims 3. The road to this point was definitely not easy. Since I made many mistakes, I had to do many things a couple of times before getting it right. I am almost finished. When I was testing it in the game, I noticed some small mask issues that I want to get rid of before releasing this blouse. Let’s hope I can fix it relatively easy! Since this is still work in progress, it is a great opportunity for me to get feedback from you before finalizing it. Which areas you would like to recolor separately? Currently, it has only two channels which are the whole shirt and the buttons. What colors should I use for this shirt and should I include more than one variation?

My box house syndrome came back! Although I have been experimenting with different building techniques, sometimes I just need to back to basics. I needed a boring, cheap motel in Lucky Palms for a story that I am planning. Thus, boring “boxyness” of the house is acceptable (this time).

As a small sim snack for my simblr, I did the makeup meme with one of my models. I left out the classic and smoky looks since they were too similar with the other looks.

As you can see, I am currently toying with Milkshape 3D. Since I have never used the program before this, I am going step by step with a tutorial. I don’t really know if this will result in anything good or even bareable. We’ll see soon enough!

I have been recategorizing some CAS parts as outerwear since the Seasons EP didn’t have very much to choose from. When I was cloning the items, I saw the mesh for lab coat. I thought that with limited retexturing it might make a nice winter coat. Since I have not really done custom content before, I thought this project would be good for practising. Now I am thinking of doing the same thing to the male lab coat (although I think I saw someone else already retextured it into outerwear). The file is in package format. The outfit is enabled only in career and outerwear categories for young adults, adults and elders. Please let me know if you had any problems with downloading or installing.

I am currently organizing the custom content that I have downloaded for the Sims 3. I never realized how long and painful process this would be. I am trying to make a system where I can easily reorganize them, i.e. making a folder where there are pictures combined with the downloads. This is taking a long time which leaves me less time for actually playing the game. I also never realized how much CC i really have in my game. Since I don’t download a lot of original custom content, I always thought I don’t have a lot of things added to my game. I was wrong! I conveniently forgot all the EA store items I have in my game. And all this time spent organizing CC, I have been thinking that after all old downloads are organized I can download some more. I admit I am addicted!
