So today is my birthday and I feel like shit!! thank you to aunt flow she brought my monthly gift a day before my birthday..talk about timing!!!! is it bad that I just want to lay in bed all day??

Oh my goodness, just found out how amazing FED Ex is, I love my job it just keeps getting easier and easier lol...instead of waiting in line to print out documents at the store, I can upload them online and pic out color/paper/texture/format anything I need done to my documents they can do online. Then they are shipping it to me for FREE and delivering it to my front door step!! WOW...maybe you all already knew about this but I find it fascinating lol..... ‪#‎itsthelittlethings‬...‪#‎ilovemyjob‬

ITS BEEN AWHILE....

Hi Loves or Hi complete and utter nothingness,

Its been a while since I had written an entry but I’ve been extremely busy and you know what? Thats actually a really good thing. Lets see since I last posted, I’ve been to the studio many times and we’ve written several songs that are so much fun and really fun to perform so Im happy about that and I had an awesome Mary Kay party, Thanks to my beautiful host Letty!! Went to a badass Concert in the park. Levitt Pavillon in Pasadena to be exact. I received Sales Queen of the week again!! Ohh and also I forgot to mention I was also awarded with Rookie of the Year of my MK Unit :) 

So many good things happening and Im just floating on cloud nine right now, I also have some other things to share but I don't want to jinx it so that announcement might have to wait a bit, and NO Im NOT pregnant. Or at least I don't think I am...shit, Im late....LOL don't worry, no kids for us yet, we are having way too much fun. 

Anyhoo, Let me tell you about Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra...I don't think I can recall that many Talented AF musicians on one stage performing at the same time. Those Musicians are going to change the course of live performances as far as bringing back a full ensemble to perform live music. So many musicians are afraid to put a full back line for whatever reason they have, so they bust out the Ableton live or a Korg and some pedals. Don't get me wrong I love that and the sounds you can make but there is NOTHING I mean NOTHING like experiencing a full orchestra playing your favorite hit songs/music. In my case, Traditional Ska! They performed music from the Skatalites one of my favorite bands. They brought singers out on stage, from some of my other fav bands (Hepcat, Fishbone) to perform traditional hits like Jamaican ska and Love and Affection (Angelo Moore Jamaica ska/The Expanders Love&Affect). I was blown away, I wish I can find the right words to describe the evening correctly but I believe I am at a loss for words right now. I mean they even had dancers showing people had to Skank or do the “ska”. I bet you thats what it was like to be at a Jamaican Dancehall in the sixties because half of Levitt Pavilion was Dancing the night away....You could tell everyone was super happy and excited and it was just vibing through everyone. I wish you could have been there. I have videos of the night posted on my Instagram @VS.Sound . SO check it out and do yourself a favor by looking up The Skatalites, Toots and the Metals, The Wailers, Laurel Aiken, and Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra!!! You won't regret it!!

Exhausttted

So tired!! Our vacation wiped me out! I had too much fun apparently lol. I came back with a sprained foot!! oh yeah, and just for the record, my last past may have been a bit over dramatic. Thats what happens when my hormones are out of whack, thanks mother nature!.... :P 

I think I will post more about my vacation later. Till then I bid you adieu!

Gutted!

I understand not everyone has to like or agree with what I do, thats a given. But the people whom I love and support unconditionally in everything they do and I mean EVERYTHING, won't give me the time of day or a minute to understand why I chose this path, hurts like hell. To just dismiss me, hurts, especially when it comes from the people your closest to. Since Im on the subject of feeling hurt, the worst thing you can do to me is lie to me. Especially when multiple people confirmed the truth. I guess my presence in peoples lives is not that important especially when they are making a huge life decision. Do what you must, but don't say what happened, when I distance myself from you. I won't be around if Im not wanted or only there when you feel its convenient. Even though Im sad and down at this moment, it doesn't really matter cause tomorrow I will be surrounded by the people who do love me and support me unconditionally. Not to mention, we’ll be camping (glamping) in one of the most beautiful settings. At least I can still find the positives, my life is truly blessed and I’m thankful that I can still be in my “pink” bubble of love no matter. <3

Queen of the week!

Starting with this past Saturday, I had quite an eventful weekend. Still fun, none the less but busy! I wanted to get a head start on my errands so I set my alarm clock for 7am on Saturday morning. Since i had went jogging the day before, my back woke me up because I was in pain. Stupid back pain!! Any lady with a large bust Im sure can relate. Those sports bra’s aren’t always the best support. So I was awake at 5am in pain, fell asleep at 6:45 and woke up at 11AM..AHHHHH!! lol Out of bed like a Ninja!! In a rush, I got ready and my love helped me out with errands. Im so thankful to have him because he saved me that weekend. Anyway, we went to office depot to make product placemats for the party and make copies of all the paperwork I needed. If you are a Mary Kay consultant, definitely take advantage of the discount card on Intouch. You can find it under MK connections. Its a huge help plus the discount is AMAZING! Once, finished I ran a couple more errands and went back home to prep for the party, then I was on my way. By the way the party was so much fun and the group of girls were super cool! Thanks again LIz!!

Mary Kay party:

After the party, I got to go to my friends birthday party and even though I didnt get to be there for the whole event Im so happy I got to spend the time there that I did because I love my friends, they’re like family. <3 Happy Birthday Nef!!

Cut to Sunday! Sunday was so much fun as well, I got to pick up my niece and nephew and we got to go to Noah's birthday party!!! He is the cutest little boy ever!!! Andrew and Marylou, thanks for inviting us, we had a blast!

Then Monday Came along and I got Queen of Sales of the week!!!

So happy about this, this crowning reaffirmed my thoughts about joining Mary Kay, it is truly improving and positively changing my life!! I also, nervously, did some product knowledge about the Botanical set and the ladies in my unit were so supportive. They made me feel more comfortable during the presentation.

Tuesday, was back to being a Nanny, we went grocery shopping and swimming, and while Athena was at Cheer practice we played some Jarrasic world on Ps3 which is huge for me because I AM NOT a gamer lol We ended the day with a nice healthy dinner.

Sore AF

So I have a min to myself right now before my weekend gets crazy busy. I dont know where we left off but I would like to tell you about last weekend. Last weekend was a dream. We went to North Hollywood for a band rehearsal and we ended up at the studio for about 5 hours. We finished another song. I love our progress and I have a really good feeling about it. I love that we are all on the same page and working towards the same goal.

Cut to Monday, I left for a week to diamond bar to watch the kids and we have been having some fun. Since the kids are now on Summer break we get to pretty much do whatever we like. So once the chores are done and the kids are fed I get to play games with them, go swimming, and we even went jogging yesterday. We ran about 2 and 1/2 miles. Hence title, Sore AF because the trail has a lot of hills so running up those hills really did the trick lol.

Today, I get to go back home and prepare for a Mary Kay party im working tomorrow which Im super excited about. I cannot wait because I know its going to be so much fun. :) Then after that its straight to my good friends birthday party. Then Sunday I get to pick up the kids and take them to a birthday party. So its a packed weekend but its packed with fun and excitement. SO til next time, I hope you all have a great weekend!!!

Chasing Dreams

So last night ruled! I love creating music with musicians who share the same passion and dreams as myself and Fiancé. To be involved with musicians whose first priority is making music and try to make things happen is key. It might not be what’s realistic for many musicians because not all of us have the luxury to make music our priority. Luckily with Mary Kay I'm able to prioritize anything to my liking. So Im taking full advantage of this time I have to continue to pursue my dreams. So after only a couple of rehearsals we already have one song finished and almost finished with a second. Super excited about our progress!! Anyhow, ill keep you all updated. We will be meeting on Saturday, so ill let you know how that goes. 

Speaking of dreams, who knew that I would have another dream that I am also currently pursuing. I really want to own a Mary Kay car. Im building my team as we speak and Im so close to getting my red jacket. I can't wait. I already love the team I have and I can't wait to expand. Shout out to Jacqueline Soto and Tacosha Bolanos!! Thank you for joining this adventure with me. Im so grateful to have you ladies alongside me. <3

Also, If I had asked you to host a Mary Kay party, My goal is not to sell and push product on you. My goal is to have a platform and opportunity to share Mary Kay with you and what it is about. Not to mention its a very relaxing and soothing experience. I mean we get to do facials with our best gal pals (or male) and then add a touch of color at the end. The best part is its all free.

Graduate!!!

So proud of my niece/goddaughter!! She graduated 8th grade today! She even surprised her parents by opening up the ceremony and singing the National Anthem. Im beaming with pride right now, I cannot be more proud. She also made Honor all!! She truly is a bright young lady and a class act. ps that dress is gorgeous!!

Finally...

Hi Loves,

Im finally feeling better and getting rid of this cold!!! Woohoo!! Anyway, I went to our Monday Night Mary Kay meeting tonight and it was so nice!! Very inspirational and motivating. Its so insane to think someone who started 6 weeks ago is already in DIQ..What!?!? I know right!! The cool thing is to know with hard work it is possible. Anything is possible. Dream big my loves Dream BIG!!
