Pug life

Rocky Balboa is my little pug and the apple of my eyes. He was born in Catlett, VA on November 25th, 2003. He arrived in our lives on January 2004. He was originally the Christmas present to my then boyfriend and now husband but he has been more of my present and blessing in disguise. On April 21, 2012 he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and since we have started our journey to providing him a normal way of life. On June 28, 2012, we were informed by his vet that Rocky is moderately blind and one more thing we must help him conquer. I would like to share his journey with others as I looked to others online did not find much about pugs with diabetes and blindness therefore my goal is to inform others and share his journey. He is an ideal and the sweetest doggy…we have been blessed to have him in our lives.
