“ I mean it ! ” Romen giggled, “ You’re more than welcome to tune our piano any time, honestly the man who does it is just... unsettling. I don’t know, there’s something about the way he gazes at people. ”

“ mommy isn’t always gonna be around for you. why wait until then when you can start now? ” Nova rolled her eyes slightly. She loved her mom to no end and was always grateful for everything she had given to her, she knew that it wouldn’t be around for her whole life. She had to grow up eventually ( or at least begin to ). “ two thousand dollars?  ” Nova questioned, putting e m p h a s i s on the thousand. “ all that for a dress you’d probably end up growing out of? ”

“ Because I don’t need to. ” Romen explained, slowly gaining back her composure, though her attitude was not one fit for a lady just yet. “ Well’s it’s a J Mendel and I won’t grow out of it, I haven’t gotten much taller in the last two years. ”

Romen gasps, eyes widening slightly. “You did? Mary I didn’t know that!” He lets out a soft giggle as a hand raises up to brush her hair with her fingers. “Well I’m sure she didn’t do it to hurt you, she probably didn’t know either.”

At the sound of the other girl’s voice, Harley glanced over her shoulder, a slightly suspicious look on her face. She leaned over to her speakers, lowering the volume but not turning it off all the way. “Can I help you?” Slightly sarcastic, but not entirely rude.

“ Hi ! yes. ” Romen’s smile grew softer, oblivious to the slight sarcasm in the girl’s tone. “ That’s some interesting decoration by the way, quite... unique ! Anyways I just heard the Christmas music and thought there was a chance you’d have some marshmallows to spare ? Actually that isn’t very logical at all now that I think about it but... I just made hot chocolate because it’s freezing in here but I forgot to buy the squishy things ! I have some hot chocolate to spare too if you want some ? ”

Nova scoffed and rolled her eyes. “   calm down, princess. don’t you think it’s time to stop relaying on mom given the standards we’re in right now? it’s a nice dress, sure; but honestly, a dress is a dress and there will be more.  — besides, it was just water. just imagine if i had coffee this time around.  ”

“I’m sixteen, I rely on my mother’s love and affection and money.” Romen explained, though her eyes explored the damage instead of facing Nova, with two delicate fingers she pulled off her skin the wet area. She couldn’t help but sigh with relief as the girl said it was just water. “A two thousand dollar dress, don’t even mention spilling coffee on it.”

This is ROMEN POTTS. She is FIFITEEN and will enroll into Disland Prep as a FRESHMAN. Usually, she would live with her mother, MISS POTTS in VILLAGE DE LA BÊTE.  Earthlings commonly mistake her for CHLOE MORETZ.

Since her brother had received the fiery side of Miss Potts, it would only make sense for little Roman to inherit the sweet side of her mother. Yet, she never truly inherited the trait until her older years. As a child, Romen was nothing but spoiled. Everything she wanted was either hers, or no ones. When she was with her friends, and they had something she couldn’t have, she would simply break it. Not a word out of her mouth, for it seemed as if it was the most common thing to do in the situation. Yet, she lost so many friends due to her unfriendly manners. When he mother finally realized what was going on, she devoted her time to teaching Romen proper manners, and her lessons truthfully paid off. Romen went above and beyond to help anyone and everyone who couldn’t afford or do the things they wanted. That is, until she found out about her brother. One day, out of her normal curiosity, she followed her brother to wherever he went every once in a blue moon. She gave him credit, if he had just kept going erratically, she wouldn’t have noticed at all, yet he didn’t. The alarming discovery almost knocked the girl into a shocking state of hysteria. She never would have guessed her brother would be doing something as violent and gruesome as this, but he was. That night, she rand back home and swore to never bring it up, in hopes that she wouldn’t get him in trouble. Yet, she would always go to the club once in a while to make sure he was okay, which he always was.

“Well, what is it like being here?”

“I mean, at least I have my brother!  There’s still going to be other people to take care of me too… right?  Please say that’s right.”

As the baby of the Potts family, Romen has always been a bit spoiled.  It’s not like she means to be or anything, she was just constantly babied her entire life and is used to getting her way.  Her brother was always there to protect her from bad people, while her mom happily bent over backwards to put a smile on her face.

Romen loves being happy, and she loves sharing happiness with the people around her.  You could tell her the simplest little happy thing and she would go so excited for you it would be almost comical.  She’s very optimistic and sees the world through rose colored glasses.

Romen’s curios nature has gotten her into too many sticky situations to count.  She loves to learn and she loves to experience things first hand.  If you tell her to never go somewhere she’ll probably want to go, and if you try to keep a secret from her she will pry it out of you at whatever the cost.

Christmas was over and Harley was slowly changing everything in her room back into it’s natural state of being, Halloween decorations everywhere. Her speakers were blaring Christmas music, so she didn’t notice when someone had entered her room.

Her eyes widened as her lips formed a small ‘o’, though no sound came out. The room was quite the combination, one Romen honestly hadn’t expected as she’d come following the loud Christmas music. Still making no sound, she walked further into the room trying to get the girl’s attention with a bright smile on her lips. “ Hello ? ” She said this time, a bit louder than usual so she’d be heard over the music.

“Shit, sorry about that. Kind of.” 

“ Kind of ? ” Romen demanded. Her features though often soft, now reflected pure disbelief as she stared at her ruined dress. She pursed her lips in an attempt to compose herself but failed as she spoke, “ Do you have any idea how HARD it was to get my mother to buy me this dress ? It’s a J Mendel for the love of Walt ! ”

Lucas set down a truly huge pot on one of the picnic tables on the central lawn, letting out a whoosh of air as he took a step back. He had a pack of paper bowls and plastic forks in his bag — “I’ll admit I have a problem when it comes to refusing to halve recpices; does anyone want some mac and cheese?” — and he intended to share them. 

Romen’s eyes widened at the size of the pot. The smell traveling through the soft breeze making the girl wrinkle her nose. She never did get used to the food coming from anywhere but her own country. “ I really don’t love mac and cheese, but thank you anyways. ” Romen shrugged as she took a seat by the picnic table anyhow. “ I honestly can’t see how even half of that could be for a single person. ”

“any particular reason WHY you’ve found your way to my room or is there something i can help you with?”

Oblivious to the boy’s annoyance, Romen invited herself into the room rather than just standing by the door. “ There is actually. ” Her smile lit up as her little french accent worked its way through every other word. “ A couple of boxes just arrived and they’re kind of heavy. I was looking around and found your door open and hey you’re a gentleman! Would you be kind enough to help me, please ? ”

Is it really possible that I am the only person at this school who knows how to tune a piano? Every time the piano has needed to be tuned, it has been me who does it.

“ My mom always sent for somebody to tune our piano since it looked just too complicated– also she worried we might mess up the piano while learning. ” Romen shrugged with a small, yet sweet smile. “ That’s my excuse anyways. ”

okay my loves, those definitely weren’t all of the replies but those were the only ones i could do today, I’m super tired and was supposed to go to bed like 2 hours ago. I won’t be able to be on for a couple of days but I’ll reply to everything once I get back!!!

“O-okay.” Romen said, now extremely curious as to what exactly she was helping with. Excited nonetheless. The young girl could’ve been excited over something even at a funeral. “Who isn’t a fan of bubbles?”

“I see,” Kamaka nodded slowly. “Oh, see, there’s not really people where i’m from. I mean, i’m sure there are, but I haven’t interacted with more than a couple. All of this is very new to me.” Quickly, the boy shook his head. “N-no! Not at all! I was just curious why the beach would be a bad place to go.”

“Oh” Romen said, utterly confused. “Well where are you from? maybe I know some people that come there too!” The girl was so used to being surrounding with a bunch of people daily, and later introduced to even more from all the balls and fancy event– and school, of course, however her confused expression quickly faded away as he heard his little stammer and rushed words. “It’s alright, I was only teasing.”
