I’m doing well thanks for asking 🥰 and I hope you are too?

This month has been amazing wasn’t it? It feels so good to see vmin interact openly again after so long. I honestly thought we wouldn’t see much of them until enlistment and kind of accepted the idea but I’m so glad I was wrong! October is really Vmin’s month 🥲 I’m sad it’s over now!

just to let you know the "soulmate" song was never meant for them. Jm first wrote melody for a song, he never wrote it as his friendship with taehyung. Later the producers decided to make it a subunit and make it a vmin song so it was their idea and not jimin's. They atleast jimin never called e/o soulmates before or even after that song so yeah.

You can call them soulmates tho cause you saying that here won't make it their reality so it's fine you can say it as many times as you want. Jimin hardly remembers the lyrics so we ain't bothering with it.

Even so, the lyrics are based on them personally and their friendship, it isn't something made up if that's what you're trying to say. They have pointed out more than enough times how close they are and how they have been friends for such a long time. If you don't like their friendship or if you're just petty, just say it, but don't be acting like their friendship is something fabricated 'cause that's insane.

Vmin have been calling each other soulmates since 2017 at that fan meet…

Actually it started even before in 2015! In the Japanese interview when the members were asked who do they think is connected to their red string of fate and Taehyung himself went to the MC to whisper Jimin and him are connected by the red string.

And what does the red string mean you think? Yes, it’s literally the concept of soulmates originated from the Chinese mythology. Two destined lovers connected by the string attached to the pinky.

Also regarding Friends, Jimin made the song from scratch while playing around and didn’t have the concept or theme in mind first. When he did after bpd’s suggestion he wrote a long ass email to the co-writer to explain their story. Don’t you think Jimin told the team he was working with what he would like to be said in his song? Don’t you think he would have removed the soulmate line if he wasn’t sincere? Are you calling Jimin a liar then?

Honestly, haters like you would do the weirdest moves to validate their ship including twisting reality to fit your delusion ..

Hey, I think it matters that he had no writing credits on the song. But my question is, why would they write him two songs with kind of a similar message. In “I wish you could love me again” was about confessing his feelings to someone that left him and In “Rainy days”, he’s also singing about a person that left him and telling him how much he misses him and can’t stop thinking about them. Why would the writers give him two songs with the same concept. They even told us that his album is gonna be a story so we supposed to listen to it in order. Maybe he decided to not give away too much by leaving his name out of the list of writers. Did you watch his live today, he literally almost cried while watching “I wish you could love me again”. As you said, let’s wait for the whole album to drop so that we know what it’s really about.

That’s a good point and there could be various possibilities.

Tae could have sat down with the producers, discussed the concept, decided on a storyline and let them write the songs for him. I was talking with a friend who thought maybe he felt safer to not be in the song credits as the lyrics are quite personal and it could lead to speculations. Sort of hiding behind the writers. To me that’s a bit of a stretch. Who would pass on being credited for their work and making money from it? He could have used a pseudonym if he wanted to be incognito. Yg literally use 3 names, his gvt name, suga for bts songs, agust d for his solo projects.

From the little I know about the music industry, producers present songs to artists who decide if they want to keep or reject them. The way I see it, even if Tae didn’t participate in the lyrics, this is still his project, he must have thoroughly picked the songs himself, and the order they would be on the album. Tae is the one paying them to put his project together so I would assume he has the final say.

The other possibility could be that he was no longer satisfied with his own songs, scrapped them and let MHJ decide on everything herself and he just approved what she came up with, having no involvement in the process at all, giving her free rein

To be honest with you I think it matters. For a few years we heard tae talking about his mixtape, he has been so keen on writing songs, we had 4 oclock, scenery, sweet night where he penned his honest feelings. So I am kind of sad to not see his name in the writing credits. We know he had songs ready for a solo album since at least 2021 so I don’t know what happened really. Perhaps the songs were not approved or he didn’t like them anymore? We know he scrapped a couple.

Also, th not being in the writing credits makes me wonder if this is about his own personal experience or if he is just landing his voice for a manufactured song?

Love me again is a generic breakup song, the lyrics can be found in many other songs with this theme almost word for word. So I didn’t speculate that much and even decided to let it be if he really didn’t participate in the lyrics on the album at all.

What changed the deal for me was Rainy Days. The references are literally pointing at Jimin or are part of the « vmin history » (if I can put it that way). They are too specific for me to believe it is just pure coïncidence. Could it be that Th sat down with the producers and discussed the theme and what he wanted to say in these songs? In a similar way it was for Chingu for example? Jimin sent a long email to the writer who used these info, and a convo she had with her friend who’s an army, to write the song. However, in comparison to Tae, Jimin is credited as a writer so he definitely had more involvement in the process.

That’s where I am right now. I hope we will get to learn more during the official promo period, that he explains how the album came to be. In the meantime, I’m just going to take things as they go, proceed with caution because we really don’t know what happens in their private lives and I don’t want to be delusional anymore. I’d rather stick to facts now. If he participated in the lyrics it would be amazing, but if he didn’t it would be a bummer but I’d still listen to the song and support him.

I remember I made a post long ago about how in a ITS episode Tae and Hobi came across a little prince mural and Th thought about Jimin right away (meanwhile at a similar timing Jimin was carving a fox on a piece of wood back at the house)

And KArmy called Jimin Little Prince after the serendipity mv came out.

FACE is so sad (Alone legit made me cry) and now Layover. Vmin what happened ?!! 😭

Hey there, I really miss your blogs. I don’t blame you though because there is nothing Vmin related to blog about. Many Vmin accounts have deactivated, and many Vminnies have given up. There a lot of people attacking Vmin and calling their friendship fake. It’s really exhausting being a Vmin shipper lately. I just wanted to check up on. Please take care.

To be honest I did not realise you guys were enjoying my rumbles about vmin 😅 I started this blog because I didn’t have anyone to talk to about how I adore vmin and their precious bond, then I found Tumblr and finally had a space to talk about them freely and it was really freeing.

Chapter 2 has been a rollercoaster of emotions and things took a turn we didn’t expected at all, especially now that we have almost zero content it is really hard to be a shipper or just a vmin supporter isn’t it?

To be honest with you I do have some moments of doubts whether I should go as hard when it comes to vmin. Sometimes I do wonder are they really that close or did I make things up in my head and saw what I wanted to see? But then I remember everything they have said about each other for so many years and they were so consistent for a whole decade! This couldn’t be taken lightly. It shouldn’t. Some would argue it was just fan service or they were playing things up for the camera . But is it really what it was? One can only pretend for so long right? They can pretend for a year or two but aren’t they bound to slip up at some point and reveal their true face? These are the kind of thoughts I have at times. However at the end, I still go back to their words and still believe vmin meant what they said, that they love each other and want to be in each other’s lives for as long as possible.

Regarding this blog, I replied to a previous ask that I would come back from time to time but I’m not sure how to do it. I’ve been thinking about the direction I should take, the kind of things I would like to talk about. I do have a couple of ideas that I need to organise better in my head. In addition to that I am facing some health issues that I need to take care of right now and it would take some time before I’m all good gain so I won’t be able to come back as of now unfortunately. But I’m not giving up! I still want to post on here because I love vmin so much and my heart just can’t let go of them 😭

So yea that’s how things are for me right now and I’m sorry for being MIA for so long but I’ll definitely be back. Maybe by then vmin will surprise us and come home! Who knows! Let’s just hope that wherever they are and whatever they are doing, Jimin and Taehyung are both happy.

Vmin never shying away from showing their love for each other. Jimin made us having a collective mental breakdown with his grand declaration for Th’s birthday last year but Taehyung was one step ahead as he was the first to call Jimin my love back in 2015!

Is it just me or?

It hit me the other day and now I cannot unsee this.

I am not going to make a whole analysis on how these two connects but that made me think again that these two seem to like leaving each other hidden or cryptic messages or clues.

We could see that they made it a game during the behind for the recording of 친구 for example when they would leave each other messages to each other as a little surprise when the other would pick up the recording during the following session.

Tae posted snippets of Travel with me on IG story early December and Jimin posted the surreal My love tweet (I’m still not over this and will never be) for Tae’s birthday. Why does it feel as if Jimin is responding to Tae by the choice of words, starting his message with my love that we also find in the song?

I don’t want to think that everything Tae does is about Jimin and Jimin has never been shy with showing love and writing endearing terms for Tae in his birthday tweets over the years. However it is interested to see how the dots connect eventually.
