Gaius A.K.A the second Husband

Send me § and my muse will react to yours pushing them against a wall and kissing them.
"Mmf!" Lucina exclaimed, falling silent not too long afterwards as she was kissed. She inhaled slightly, before placing her hands against Gaius’s chest in order to push him away so that she could breathe properly.
"Wh-what exactly brought this on, Gaius?" She asked quietly, a faint hint of pink appearing in her cheeks.
"You had some icing on the corner of your lip," His face was straight but his sweetened tongue slurped his lips with a near lustful sound, "A man's temptations are hard to resist when staring down a seductive icing-on-the-corner-of-your-lip."

A Night Out || [ Atterria | Gaius ]
「♟♖♞」 Atterria loosened her grip, allowing him to break free from her grasp and instead clenched her tiny fists at her side.
'How dare he!’ she screamed internally, ‘the nerve of that man!’
The tealette could only give him the nastiest glare she could muster as he began to walk away from her. She should hit him with a Thoron, just knock him off his feet for showing her such disrespect towards her. Atterria hadn’t been asking for much, she just wanted a few answers and what had Gaius done? Mistreated her and outright insulted her, she may not know much about herself but the assumptions he had made about her were no less offensive.
"Yo, Atta!” The Vaike’s voice broke through her thoughts, “everythin’ all right?”
The tactician turned her head, making eye contact with the shirtless fighter. Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, Atterria nodded and tugged her hood over her head.
"Yeah… wonderful.” Her tone was direct, giving indication that she had no desire to talk about what had just transpired.
Vaike seemed to pick up on her social cues and questioned her no further, though even she couldn’t miss his quick glance past her shoulder in Gaius direction. Regardless, the usual cheerful grin he portrayed returned to the blonde’s features.
"So a bunch of us are gonna head out already, ya joinin’ us or what?” Atterria slightly raised her head, then lowered it in a small nod. If it would get her away from here and all the prying eyes, then she would most definitely take up the offer. “let’s get goin’ then!”
This wasn’t over, Atterria vowed to herself, this wasn’t the end of their conversation, not by a long shot.

Marching from one campsite to another was always taxing on both the troops as a whole and the individual. It was now the third afternoon of this extensive march, tonight they would be setting up ‘perminate’ camp for the next few weeks. One would think that by now it would have become so second nature that it wouldn’t result in exhaustion and yet, it did. All that walking had made her legs ache; she hadn’t been able to keep up with Chrom and some of the others so instead; she had accepted the prince’s suggestion.
"This is ridiculous!” Ricken shouted beside her, “why do I have to ride in the wagon? I’m not even tired!”
"At ease,” Atterria commented, “Chrom’s orders and who are we to deny them?” Tilting her head to the side to look at the young teen, “but if you wish to defy them… I’m positive Frederick wouldn’t fail to uphold Chrom’s command.”
The young mage suddenly looked very nervous at the mention of Ricken, Atterria couldn’t help but smile a little on the inside. There was no grander fear to be felt than that felt at the receiving end of Frederick’s renowned disapproving glare. Turning her gaze away, she went back to look at her dangling legs, pretending not to notice a particular red haired thief marching just a few feet away behind them.
Gaius watched the woman march off to her own accord, leaving the thief by himself once more. He turned about, watching her back as she walked off with her friends and allies. His teeth rolled over the lollipop stick stuck in his mouth. It's not that he cared for the tactician, he actually hated how forward she was-- like she believed she had the right. It was more that Gaius now saw his position. Another mission alone, surrounded by men and women he didn't even know. Even children. That's why he marched in the rear. The thief did not care for the woman whose eyes would not leave him, his gaze turned to his right as he simply stared. He was distant, his eyes not even a gleam in their glossy coating. He shifted his shoulder as it was growing sore from the large sack of materials he carried.

Fire Emblem prints I’ll be selling at Fanime!
I’ll be at table #817 with Ybee and Rachiwi.
For those in the Smash fandom who are unfamiliar with Fire Emblem Awakening (and Robin) 1. Robin’s appearance and name can be customized. 2. Female Robin is a potential spouse for Chrom.
It happens to be my favorite pairing so Robin’s Final Smash for me is literally OTP FINAL SMASH. No shame in my shipping game. ;;
And for those familiar with my “Robin”, Valarie, yes this is still her, yes there is a reason for the lack of eye patch, and yes, I’ll probably draw it later, and no, it doesn’t have anything to do with Smash Bros.
Drawn on the 17th. (I usually keep track of dates by uploading to tumblr when I finish something but seeing as I can’t do that right now, I’ll just have to put the dates down in the description, sorry!)
hi my name is gaius and i'm looking for an olivia who wants to deal with angst
A Night Out || [ Atterria | Gaius ]
「♟♖♞」 Everything looked red, Atterria could not remember the last time she felt this way, her entire body felt as if it had been set ablaze. Not even a week ago, she had been running away from a literal inferno and now it felt like she was in it once more, but this time, it was inside of her. It could consume her any moment now if she didn’t do something quickly and so, without any rational thought or concern for the consequences, she allowed her body to act on its own accord.
The instant she felt him push past her, aggressively bumping her shoulder with his arm, Atterria half turned around, grabbed the back of his cape and yanked it with all her might. In that same motion, she extended one of her legs behind him and used it to sweep his feet right from under him. The angered tactician’s other hand reached over and grabbed him by the collar and held him up, preventing him from completely falling backwards and insuring that his upper body stayed elevated.
“Listen here, you dastard!” Her words were bitter and her anger uncensored, “this is no gift. It isn’t some imaginary curse I have brought upon myself to receive pity from others, believe it or not, it IS utter hell. You claim that I don’t know loss, yet here I stand with the greatest loss of all? ‘You don’t know the struggle of the poor’? ‘You don’t know the struggle of having your family taken away’?! Are you even listening to yourself? I HAD EVERYTHING TAKEN FROM ME!”
By now, she wasn’t doing anything to keep her voice down, it was clear in those fiery sapphire eyes that Gaius’ comment had both hurt and infuriated her to the point where she cared little for her ‘professional image.’
“Chrom found me cold, weak, and hungry lying on the godforsaken wayside. I had a gash on the side of my head the size of one of your damned suckers; do you know how frustrating it is to find yourself completely disoriented? To not even be able to distinguish up from down?”
Atterria’s tiny fists clenched, tightening their grip on Gaius collar as she continued to glare all the while, little droplets appearing at the corner of her eyes. These were not tears of sadness, well, not entirely; they were tears of desperation and fury. Perhaps she did have a good and happy life prior to her amnesia, or perhaps she had been utterly miserable and better off forgetting her past. Either way, it didn’t matter now, it had all left her. In its place, there remained an ever looming void filled with nothing but confusion and distrust towards her own character.
After all, the first memory she had of this new life she had started was that of Chrom… and his murder.
With a swift blink, she growled lightly between her teeth and then let go of the thief’s cape, pushing him downward in the process to prove a point. Atterria had made a mistake; in fact, she had made numerous mistakes associating herself with Gaius. Not because of his profession, not because of his character, but because she knew the two would not be getting along anytime soon. What to him might have been a blessing; to her it truly was a curse. Until the day came where the two could meet half-way, she doubted there would be any sort of friendship would blossom between them.
“I apologize for my irrationality,” but her words were not sincere, her tone was far too stripped of emotion to give any indication that she truly regretted her actions. If anything, it was far too monotone and rehearsed in a way one would state ‘bless you’ after another sneezed. “Personal feelings should be tucked away,” she added but this time it was as if she wasn’t talking to him, “war does not permit such sentiments. They are blinding.”
Even now, she dared not turn away from him; she couldn’t very well turn her back on someone she had just pretty much attacked. So instead, she looked past him, barely keeping an eye on him with her preverbal vision.
Gaius lay on his back for few moments of time before he placed his hands on the dirt and leaned forward to a sitting position. He looked up at her and clicked his tongue, turning his head and placing his hands on his knees as he picked himself up. He began to wipe off his clothes as he turned his head away, "Don't give me a gods damned lecture after punting me to the ground, Leprechaun."
Gaius headed over to some of the nameless canonfodder troops and fell in with them, but not for her. He turned his back to the woman, only giving an interest of listening when Chrom would speak to him.
