Cabin 10 was a chaotic place- but when Starr entered it got twenty times louder. They'd been at camp long enough to be a recognizable face- but, even in their own cabin, they don't have many friends. They usually approach people to say hi- then go off about their day. This seemed different.

Starr, a 5'7" tornado of a demigod, approaches their cabinmate. "HEY! Have we ever talked? I'm Starr- how are you?" They have a dorky smile with sharp canines. They're holding a purple monster.

“No, we haven’t. I’m Haven! I’m pretty alright, how are you?” She responds, taking a sip of her strawberry mocha hot chocolate.

"Oh- What are you drinking? That looks really good!" Their voice cracks as they speak- almost making it sound like they're constantly giggling. They toss back their head, shaggy hair going everywhere, and take a sip of their monster.

"Sorry- didn't answer your question! I'm awesome! I raced some Nemesis kids around camp grounds- beat them (obviously) and then stole some energy drinks from Mr. D!"

“I’ve got a strawberry mocha hot chocolate. Which I think you should try. Pretty sure you’ve had enough caffeine for the day.” Haven hums, gently prying the can out of the younger one’s hand.

"Uh!" Starr protests, trying to take it back- but failing. "That's my first one of the day! I don't need any less caffiene- I need more, actually!" The cross their arms and stick out their tongue.

"..Where'd you get it from?"

“Trust me when I say you don’t.” Haven laughs a little.

“I made it. I can make you one if you want?”

It was the middle of the night, and you were up, for no reason— maybe there was, but either way, you were up.

You decided to maybe get up, take a walk around. And you did exactly that, walking around the camp's premise, avoiding the harpies and just trying to sneak around as best as you could. Didn't want to become their meal.

Speaking of a meal, your stomach growled softly and you decided to enter the camp's kitchen.

Walking in, you noticed the lights were on, and so was the stove, there was a pot on top, cooking with... tomato soup?

That's when Cecil stood up from under the cabinets, holding a pack of bread, jumping back. "Holy sh— oh! Hey! I... did not expect you to be there." He grinned sheepishly.

Haven smiled softly, coming up behind him to rest her chin on his shoulder.

“Hi lovely. What’cha making?” She hums.

"Hey," Cecil chuckled, turning his head to give Haven a kiss on her cheek.

"I am making tomato soup and cheese toasts!"

“Yummy.” She’s still sleepy and he can hear it in her tone.

“Why so late though?”

"Oh... well..." He smiled sheepishly, his cheeks flushing red from slight embarrassment.

"I had a... small nightmare, and cooking food and then usually eating said food comforts me."

“Mmh, wanna talk about it?” She mumbles, wrapping her arms around him.

He melted in her embrace, sighing softly. "It's just... those spirits... they're gone, I think, but still... it just gets me still every so often."

“I get it.” She nods, kissing his shoulder.

“That was……..a scary time for all of us, I think.”

"Yeah..." He sighed again, before smiling at her and turning towards her, kissing her forehead.

"But y'knowwww.... being with you here makes it alllllllllll better." He laughed softly.

She giggles.

“You’re so sweet.” She smiles.

Then she sniffs the air.

“Also I think your grilled cheese is burning.”

"Oh shit—" He rushed to the grilled cheese, and it was indeed burning.

"Uh.. well, it's not too burnt..." He shrugged, smiling awkwardly.

“I think it’s fine, we caught it early.” She hums, moving to pull herself up onto the counter.

“Should still be edible.”

New oc (There's a knock on the Aphrodite Cabin door. When Haven opens it, in the doorway stands a younger teen of medium height. He has tan skin, fluffy dark blue hair, two small black wings behind his ears fluttering nervously, purple eyes, and he has deep bags under his eyes. He gives a polite wave) Hey, I'm Endri Aphelion, I'm from the Hypnos cabin. I was wondering if you had a spare sewing kit, ours got stolen by a few Hermes campers. Some of the pillows in our cabin got ripped open after an... er... incident. Could I maybe borrow it?

“Yeah, of course? We’ve probably got some spare fabric if you need?” She nods, grabbing one of many sewing kits.

“Anything else? Oh! And I like your wings.” She smiles.

(Endri smiled tiredly and shook his head) "No, no, not at all. The fabric and kit is enough. Sorry for waking you up by the way I know how valuable sleep is... even if I can't enjoy it."

“Oh it’s no issue! I was already awake, so don’t even worry about it.” She waves it off.

She gets him a few large pieces of fabric, “if you need more, feel free to come by again.”

A bright orange T-Shirt with the logo for some weird summer camp on it….Camp……..Half Blood? Like I said, weird. Paired with Jean shorts and white tennis shoes.

“Oh! Wait, do you……know where I am?” She asks, fiddling with a ring.

“And how would one go about getting back to New York City from here?”

"Hang on, huh? Getting to... where?" Jay squinted, tilting his head a little. He was pretty sure he knew the names of most of the cities in Ninjago, and that one.. didn't sound familiar at all. "You're in Ninjago City."

“Nin…….jago? What the fuck is a Ninjago?” She blinks.

“Did I hit my head or something fighting that cabin twenty kid? Is this earth?” She laughs nervously.

"Its.. Ninjago. What are you talking about??" Jay looked taken aback, and almost as confused as she was. "What's an earth? And where's New York City??"

“New York City is a City in New York? In the United States of America? What the hells do you mean what is earth, that’s our planet!” She laughs.

And then realizes he’s being serious.

“Wait wait wait- who’s your godly parent? You’ve got lightning on your outfit, so I’m assuming Zeus? I’m a daughter of Aphrodite.” She blinks.

“…….yknow, like, demigods?”

"Ohhhh, you must be from a different realm! That explains it. I don't think that happens often.. but that explains it." He seemed a little less confused now, at least. "And uh, no.. my parents are named Ed and Edna. And I'm not a demigod.."

“Great!” Haven smiles , glad to have that information.

“How the fuck do I get home?”

"Uhhh.. oh! You could go see Mystake!" He grinned, proud of his idea. "There's this little old lady with a creepy tea shop, she could give you some traveler's tea! That should help you get back home."

“Great! Take me there! I don’t know where the fuck I am!” She waves her arms around, clearly on the verge of the crashout of the century.

“Oh…..uh……I mean……can you please take me to the creepy tea shop?” She wasn’t proud of using charmspeak, but she hadn’t really made the best impression!

"...sure!" Jay agreed, entranced by the charmspeak. He started walking, going right past Haven and back the way she came.

“Thanks!” Haven chirps.

What he didn’t know couldn’t hurt him, and by the time he realized, she’d be back home and it’s not like he could do anything anyway!

She follows him, weaving through the crowd with a lot of apologies.

A lot of people called her Sora before doing a double take and retracting the statement.

It was probably the pink hair, something told her it wasn’t exactly….common.

"Sooo, uh.. what's your realm like?" Jay asked as he walked alongside her, tilting his head a bit. "What's it called? I don't think I've heard of any of the places you've mentioned so far.. but I mean- I'm not a realm expert."

“Uh……Earth. It’s similar but vastly different.” She tries to explain.

“I’m a child of a goddess and a mortal, called a demigod. I’m the daughter of the goddess of love and beauty, and……other things.” She giggles.

"Woah! That's crazy.. I'll have to ask Master Wu about it later." He giggled a little. "So do you guys not have elemental masters or anything? Just demigods?"

“Uhhhhh for the most part? I mean there’s like monsters that want to eat us.” She shrugs.

“I mean Zeus kids can control weather and lightning, Poseidon kids can control water and like……hurricanes, Demeter and the rare Hades kid can control the earth? Hecate kids have Magic…..I think that’s it for what you’d call ‘elemental masters’? Oh! Apollo kids can control light, and some Hades kids can like…..travel through shadows!”

"Oooh, so that's why you thought I was that guy's kid.. that makes sense!" He nodded. "So you guys can have more than one person with the same powers at a time?"

“Yeah, there are these things called Legacies too. Like if your parent was a demigod, you’re a legacy of whoever their godly parent is. Sometimes you’re a demigod and a legacy. Like there’s this kid at my camp, a son of Ares and a legacy of Nemesis. God of war and goddess of vengeance respectively.” She explains.

“Sometimes legacy powers get passed down too. There’s a legacy of Hephaestus at camp, he’s the god of blacksmithing and craftsmanship, and she’s not as good at that stuff as the direct demigods, but there’s not a huge gap of skill. She’s just as reliable to fix or make things, it might just take a while longer.”

"Oohhhh.. that's kind of how it works for elemental masters! Yknow, the whole legacy thing anyways."

"I'm the elemental master of lightning, because it was passed down from my mom, and she got it from her dad, and nobody else can get it until I either have a kid or I'm departed."

“Ooh, interesting, you’ll probably end up in Elysium, due to the ninja thing, unless you’re an evil ninja. You’ll probably end up in the fields of punishment if you’re evil.” She hums.

“That’s how our afterlife works, the Vikings and Egyptians have their own systems.”

"Well, I'm pretty sure I'm not an evil ninja, sooo... Elysium! Yay!" He grinned. "I think I've done enough saving the world to earn it."

“Oh yeah, you’re pretty much guaranteed it.” She nods.

“Saving the world will definitely get you in there. Pretty much any demigod of name in recent memory went there. Jason Grace, Bianca Di Angelo, Silena Beauregard, Charles Beckendorf…….pretty much anyone from the Apollo cabin that died in the battle of Manhattan. I wasn’t around for the wars but I’ve heard stories.” She shrugs.

"Ohh.. wow." He mumbled, frowning a little. "That's alot of people.. how many people are in a cabin?"

“Depends! Some cabins are really really small, like the Poseidon cabin, and some are really really big, like the Apollo cabin! Depends on how frisky the particular god is.” She shrugs.

“My cabin is pretty decently sized.”

"Oooh, that makes sense." He nodded. "Especially for the goddess of love and beauty and stuff. How many are there?"

“Too many to name but there are twelve main ones we call the Olympians.” She deadpans.

“You got Zeus, king of the gods and god of Thunder, and others, Hera, his wife, goddess of marriage and family, Poseidon, god of the sea, storms, and horses, among other things, Hades, god of the underworld, riches, and the dead- not death, just the dead- among other things, Demeter, Goddess of the harvest among other things, Ares, who I explained already, Athena, goddess of wisdom, war, and weaving, again among other things.” She takes a breath.

“Apollo, god of the sun, healing and disease, art, poetry, and music, among other things, Artemis, goddess of the moon and the hunt, among other things, Hephaestus, who I explained already, Aphrodite, my mom who I’ve explained already, Hermes, god of boundaries, travel, thieves, and merchants, among other things, and finally,” She concludes, “Dionysus, god of wine, insanity, and revelry, among other things.”

“Those are the main pantheon.” She smiles, slightly out of breath.

“Gods I’m not even a counselor!” She giggles.

“Ah! Sorry!” The girl who bumps into him squeaks.

“Oh…..uh……I mean……can you please take me to the creepy tea shop?” She wasn’t proud of using charmspeak, but she hadn’t really made the best impression!

"...sure!" Jay agreed, entranced by the charmspeak. He started walking, going right past Haven and back the way she came.

“Thanks!” Haven chirps.

What he didn’t know couldn’t hurt him, and by the time he realized, she’d be back home and it’s not like he could do anything anyway!

She follows him, weaving through the crowd with a lot of apologies.

A lot of people called her Sora before doing a double take and retracting the statement.

It was probably the pink hair, something told her it wasn’t exactly….common.

"Sooo, uh.. what's your realm like?" Jay asked as he walked alongside her, tilting his head a bit. "What's it called? I don't think I've heard of any of the places you've mentioned so far.. but I mean- I'm not a realm expert."

“Uh……Earth. It’s similar but vastly different.” She tries to explain.

“I’m a child of a goddess and a mortal, called a demigod. I’m the daughter of the goddess of love and beauty, and……other things.” She giggles.

"Woah! That's crazy.. I'll have to ask Master Wu about it later." He giggled a little. "So do you guys not have elemental masters or anything? Just demigods?"

“Uhhhhh for the most part? I mean there’s like monsters that want to eat us.” She shrugs.

“I mean Zeus kids can control weather and lightning, Poseidon kids can control water and like……hurricanes, Demeter and the rare Hades kid can control the earth? Hecate kids have Magic…..I think that’s it for what you’d call ‘elemental masters’? Oh! Apollo kids can control light, and some Hades kids can like…..travel through shadows!”

"Oooh, so that's why you thought I was that guy's kid.. that makes sense!" He nodded. "So you guys can have more than one person with the same powers at a time?"

“Yeah, there are these things called Legacies too. Like if your parent was a demigod, you’re a legacy of whoever their godly parent is. Sometimes you’re a demigod and a legacy. Like there’s this kid at my camp, a son of Ares and a legacy of Nemesis. God of war and goddess of vengeance respectively.” She explains.

“Sometimes legacy powers get passed down too. There’s a legacy of Hephaestus at camp, he’s the god of blacksmithing and craftsmanship, and she’s not as good at that stuff as the direct demigods, but there’s not a huge gap of skill. She’s just as reliable to fix or make things, it might just take a while longer.”

"Oohhhh.. that's kind of how it works for elemental masters! Yknow, the whole legacy thing anyways."

"I'm the elemental master of lightning, because it was passed down from my mom, and she got it from her dad, and nobody else can get it until I either have a kid or I'm departed."

“Ooh, interesting, you’ll probably end up in Elysium, due to the ninja thing, unless you’re an evil ninja. You’ll probably end up in the fields of punishment if you’re evil.” She hums.

“That’s how our afterlife works, the Vikings and Egyptians have their own systems.”

"Well, I'm pretty sure I'm not an evil ninja, sooo... Elysium! Yay!" He grinned. "I think I've done enough saving the world to earn it."

“Oh yeah, you’re pretty much guaranteed it.” She nods.

“Saving the world will definitely get you in there. Pretty much any demigod of name in recent memory went there. Jason Grace, Bianca Di Angelo, Silena Beauregard, Charles Beckendorf…….pretty much anyone from the Apollo cabin that died in the battle of Manhattan. I wasn’t around for the wars but I’ve heard stories.” She shrugs.

"Ohh.. wow." He mumbled, frowning a little. "That's alot of people.. how many people are in a cabin?"

“Depends! Some cabins are really really small, like the Poseidon cabin, and some are really really big, like the Apollo cabin! Depends on how frisky the particular god is.” She shrugs.

“My cabin is pretty decently sized.”
