Casually crying after that performance. Never imagined we’d actually hear @taylorswift sing “soon you’ll get better” besides the album, but I’m grateful she was willing to share a song thats so personal and means so much to her. It’s my favorite song off of the album. It means so much to me, as I’m sure it means so much to many other people going through similar experiences. Love ya Tay! ♥️

I feel like I had to shed light about the bullshit that the Philippine government is putting us through:

Sources are scarce, doctors are dying, the government action is as slow as a turtle. Plus: they're prioritizing testing the politicians (results out after 24hrs) while the rest of the people wait for WEEKS to get their results (and most of them die without them/their families knowing)

They are arresting homeless people because they aren't AT HOME (for fuck's sake... they're HOMELESS, karen)

They're arresting and punishing people for going out (TO WORK AND PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE) (punish= brutally hitting them with sticks and/or making them sit under the heat of the sun because it's summer time here right now)

They threatened a young Mayor with possible lawsuits when all he did was find/implement innovative ways to make his constituents' life easier (like: continuing public transportation, when it's already banned, for health workers and frontliners)

This one Senator tested positive for coronavirus but he still: 1-attended parties, 2- went grocery shopping, 3- attended senate gatherings, 4- (THE MOST FUCKED UP) accompanied his pregnant wife (possibly positive too) at the hospital delivery room AND exposed a lot of the medical professionals when they got there. Lastly, the government wants to give him "another chance and compassion" and he said that they'll just "disinfect" the places he went to. uh, criminal???? THEY LET A SENATOR ROAM AROUND W/O PUNISHING HIM BUT KEEP ON PUNISHING THE POOR!!!

uh, honestly that's not it but like!!! we're in shambles and our government is shit.

I’m so tired THIS GOVERNMENT IS BULLSHIT AND WE DONT DESERVE IT there’s no transparency, no concrete plan or strategy on how they want to address this crisis or the struggles of the urban poor

- earlier today a hungry mob was met with violence and ARRESTED and these people were just voicing out their needs bc of the lack relief packs being distributed

- and yes the mayor being talked about here is Vico Sotto (YALL LOOK HIM UP) all he did was help Filipinos AND YET HE IS THE ONE BEING INVESIGATED WHEN THERE WAS A FUCKING SENATOR WHO BREACHED QUARANTINE this really shows that the government is threatened by competence and this is so fucked up because we will not get anywhere

- the other day the president said that it was an honor that people were dying for their country as a response to the many doctors who have died in this crisis HE HAD THE AUDACITY TO SAY DOCTORS WERE LUCKY TO DIE FOR THIS CAUSE I’m not even paraphrasing, I’m quoting him and fuck THESE DEATHS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THEY JUST HAD PPE AND ACCESS TO TESTING

- we need REAL SOLUTIONS more people have died than have recovered, we need mass testing, just any way to flatten d curve and THIS WILL NOT BE SOLVED BY MILITARIZATION N EMERGENCY POWERS TO A GOVERNMENT WHO DOESNT FUCKING CARE ABT US
