my favorite thing about adrien is that for the whole duration of the show we have this complicated relationship between him and his father, clearly he isnt treating adrien well but adrien passes it off so much, makes excuses for him, and even when he does acknowledge he is a bad person, he loves him anyway, he feels so back and forth on it and he cant seem feel one way or another

and then, towards the end of season 5 he can finally see that his father is being completely unreasonable and wont take his bs anymore (or tries to anyway) and once he realizes that, thats when his father dies, thats when, from what hes told, his father becomes a "hero" which leaves him with a billion more complicated feels than before! hes back to the beginning, but its turned around, he knows gabriel wasnt a great man, but now everyone is telling him he was a hero, and hes back to feeling back and forth and complicated on the matter

I kinda wanna write a fic on the idea of Piper not graduating early and staying in Swellview. Except it's increasingly more unhinged voicemails that Ray is leaving Henry telling him to come do something about his sister. She's eating all his food in the Nest's fridge, even after he starts labeling it. She's starting using a white board to rate his daily outfits and even has the DF kids doing it too. She's reorganizing rooms. She's critiquing his lesson plans. She's talking to Schwoz about labor laws. She's telling the DF kids they should unionize. She's there almost every day. He's known no peace since Henry left.

Meanwhile, since Henry's gone she's taken it upon herself to keep an eye on Ray. Schwoz is in on it.
