I am so excited because I am finally able to tell you that I am flying all the way from Germany to see you play in INDIANAPOLIS and NEW ORLEANS!!

I am so proud I made this happen and I am honestly doing better than I ever was cause there is nothing that completes me more than traveling around the world to explore new places and meet new friends AND I AM NOW ABLE TO COMBINE THIS WITH SEING MY BEST FRIENDS SHOW IN TWO CITIES.

I do meet-and-greets before the show and after the show which is so amazing, and I met people at the London shows from so many different countries, and it makes me feel so good that I feel like even though we might be from different places or we might be far apart, we’ve been though some things. I think it might be safe to say that everyone in this stadium has in common is tat we all may lean on the side of being hopeless romantics. Is that possible? […] But what I think a lot of us didn’t understand before we became adults is that every single day, happiness is a work in progress. Every single day, the concept of love, and self-love, is a work in progress. It’s never just going to come easily. And I think that we might think it happens like that for other people, and that other people have it easy and we’re just the ones who are struggling with insecurity or figuring out who we want to be or figuring out how to find love or what we actually want in life, but it’s not just you, it’s every single person in that stadium who struggles with that same thing, if that makes you feel any better. It’s when I’m in front of a crowd like this that I get really sentimental. I don’t know why, but ever since I was a little kid, I’ve been thinking about when I was going to be like 80 years old. I always thought like: “When I’m 80 years old am I gonna look back on this decision? Like, what will I think? Will I look back and laugh?” I think when I’m 80 and I probably don’t get to play stadiums anymore… I think I’m gonna look back on nights like this and think “Oh, that was so great. I can’t believe I got to do that.” So this is one of those crowds. And, you know, I like the fact that we’ve grown up in a time, or at last we exist in a time now, where I can keep track of what you guys are doing even if I’m not on tour. I can check in and see your Tumblr or your Instagram or your Twitter and see what you guys are up to, and I guess you guys might have ways of also seeing what I’m up to. I love seeing your milestones because I’ve been on tour and playing for you guys since I was sixteen; I’m twenty-eight now. So I got to see you guys go through so many changes. You know, I’ve gotten to meet someone when they’re eight and meet them when they’re graduating from high school, and it’s a trip. It’s so fun. And I’ve also seen you guys go through heartbreaks and things like that. We’ve seen each other’s ups and downs over the years, and that’s one of the things that I think is really bonding, at least on my end. So I wanna play a song that is for me always gonna be you.

The way I look at love is you have to follow it, and fall hard, if you fall hard. You have to forget what everyone else thinks. It has to be an us-against-the- world mentality. You have to make it work by prioritizing, and by falling in love really fast, without thinking too hard. If I think too hard about a relationship I’ll talk myself out of it.
