loved reading that Jelena interview about s3 because everything she says comes across perfectly throughout the season. you can tell how much care they put into portraying this story in a way that is appropriate for the context that it's set in. I know we all talked about censorship throughout the season but I've always affirmed that I think the team were aware of the limitations involved in depicting this story on national tv and managed to create something more honest and genuine because of those limitations. framing the whole season around lovro’s shame and reluctantance to be intimate makes perfect sense given the climate in croatia and allowed them to tell a subtle but inviting story about LGBT youth in croatia.

there's a reason this season has resonated with queer people more than any other remake!
