Words really can't describe how I feel at this very moment. We really came such a long way in making this fanzine project happen.

I wanted to thank everyone who contributed to this zine. No matter where you are now, we are still thankful for every single moment we have spent together, especially @yukidragon for helping me with editing. Please give tons of love to her!

Thank you so much for the kind words of support. Despite of all the hurdles that have come our way for the past year, everyone here working on the fanzine still want to see things through. We're planning to finally have it ready for release sometime this year.

Here's hoping that 2025 is a good year for the zine and everyone who has come along with us on our journey. Happy New Year! 🎉

Hey there, sunshines! We have an important update to share with you all on the progress of the fanzine project.

After much consideration and consultation with others, it's been decided that we need to give our overworked editor in charge a break so that they can focus on their studies. As such, the estimated release date has been pushed back until February 2025.

We're sorry to everyone who might be feeling a bit disappointed by the new release date. We promise that this delay is only because we care so much about the quality of this zine, as well as the health and well being of all of us working so hard on it behind the scenes. This fanzine is a love letter to all of us in this fandom, from the characters to the creators to the fans like us who fell in love with this story.

Now it's not all doom and gloom. The writers and artists of the fanzine are taking this as an opportunity to further polish our submissions and consider extra material we might want to submit before the new deadline. The fanzine might be officially on hiatus, but the writers and artists are still going to be working behind the scenes to create beautiful art and stories for everyone to enjoy

Thanks for supporting us all this time. We hope you'll continue to stick around with us, and we really hope you enjoy the fruits of all our labor once the zine is finally published. 💙💛❤️

How are things going? 👀

☀️Hey there! It's been a while since we've updated hasn't it? Well, we have some good news! The artists and writers have all finished their submissions and all that's left now is to compile everything into a proper zine!

☀️Our lovely editor in charge, @ThisisEClmao, is our one-person star of the show at this part of the process. They're in charge of the compiling, printing, shipping, and everything else from here. If all goes well, we'll be seeing a release before July. 🎉

That said, we ask that you please be patient with us for a bit longer, as this zine is a labor of love made by fans for fans, and sometimes life can toss some urgent matters our way that take priority and delay things.

HI! Sorry to bother, but sunny day jack is a strictly 18+ fandom, please put your age in bio or the fact of a potential minor in the fandom will have to be passed around. I mean to seem mean but we can't risk ANYONE within this fandom NOT putting their age where its easy to see.

Don't worry, all the moderators running this zine and tumblr are over the age of 18. We've now added that information into the tumblr's description, as well as a reminder that this is an 18+ fandom meant for adults only. Thanks for pointing out that oversight and for staying vigilant to keep minors out of adults only spaces!

Hey there. I wasn't sure if the results of the zine participants were posted or not, but I just remembered that discord had forced an update to slightly alter looking up discord names (they no longer have #1234 at the end). If this happened to someone who submitted and application, how should we contact you? Or will you automatically fallback on a secondary contact method (if one is provided)?

Also, Twitter is a bit of a mess right now... will you also post the participants on this platform as well? Thanks!

The results haven't been posted just yet, but we're getting ready to make the announcement. We're going to be sending out an email to everyone who got in, which will include a link to the discord group for the magazine.

The public announcement of everyone who got in will be posted here and on twitter on the 5th of July.

Question for yall!!! Will you be making a list of pinch hitters just incase some of the originally accepted applicants can't complete their pieces for the zine?

We do have some backup artists just in case, but we would rather not name them at this time. After all, we're hoping that everyone who gets a part in our fanzine can shine like a star without a need for an understudy. 🌈🌟
