“Thank you.” Her thanks was rather tired, all the fatigue of traversing the strange city, and the fighting of Grimm beforehand had finally gotten to her, and while she could keep herself up for a while longer, she could easily lower her head onto a pillow and sleep.

“So… Uh… From what I’ve gathered your the police… Won’t people look at me weirdly? I’m technically an alien right?”

[ S.P.D Emergency ] “Look around you, Aliens are widely accepted on Earth and you will be as well. The person I’m taking you to see also has feline attributes so you’re not the first cat-kady I’ve seen.” She started as she motioned for Blake to follow her. “If you wanna see weird then you should wait till we see Cruger, oh boy.”

"Okay, is it just me, or did I somehow find myself ten years in the future...?"

[ S.P.D Emergency ] “You wouldn’t be the first, to be honest.”

[ S.P.D Emergency ] “I wouldn’t even worry about it, miss. We can send you back to your original time within the hour. We’d probably need to wipe your memory, though.” Z shrugged. This wasn’t the first time they’d sent people back to the past.

That… Actually was pretty darn cool, but it sounded like this worlds substitute for Aura, you could only ever be an effective Hunter or Huntress if you had it, and could effectively control it. 

“That actually sounds like Aura, its something where I come from that we use to enhance our attacks, but nonetheless its pretty impressive.” She concluded, before she decided that she needed to get to the main issue. “Do you have any idea what I can do about finding a way home? I’d hate for my team to lose a member.”

[ S.P.D Emergency ] Z listened to her speak about Aura and could see the similarities between this Aura and her Ranger form. “Well, I can take you back to S.P.D HQ and we can see if Kat can find anything for you?” Blake would probably get along with Kat well seeing as they both had feline features.

She smiled, glad to have made a friend in this odd place, and hopefully she could somehow get help getting home. If she ever could.

“Not to outnumber, I’ve mostly used them to take the hit for me, enhance my jumps, things like that.” Blake shrugged her shoulders. “So… What was that earlier? The yellow suit?”

[ S.P.D Emergency ] “I see.” Z said as she gave a soft nod of her head before quirking a brow at her question about her Ranger uniform. “Well, when I need more power to fight criminals I use this morpher.” Z started as she pulled out her morpher. “When I use it I get strong enough to beat these criminals.”

Before the ‘policewomen’ seemed rather reserved, now she smiled brightly causing the Faunas to respond in kind. “Blake Belladonna.” She bowed her head for a brief second in a show of respect. 

She shimmered again before several shadow-like clones appeared alongside her, before they disintegrated like the one earlier. “They don’t speak… They just help in combat mostly.” She explained, hoping not to later disappoint Z later on.

[ S.P.D Emergency ] “So you use them to help you outnumber your opponent? That’s actually pretty smart.” Z nodded as she made a mental note to use her clones more after morphing. She really only used them when she was not mrphed at all. “It’s also nice to meet you, Blake.”

[ S.P.D Emergency ] “Um, can I help you, miss?”

Blake very nearly jumped out of her skin, surprised at the others ability! It was very much like her own, but her’s seemed more permanent. Her ears twitched again, this time flicking in the direction of Z’s clone. 

“I appreciate the concern…” She spotted the glint of one showing off, something she used to see all the time in Yang’s eyes before they encountered Neo. So she decided to show off also, her body shimmered slightly before a copy appeared beside her, mimicking her movements as she rubbed an ear, before it disintegrated into particles.

[ S.P.D Emergency ] “Oh, hey, someone we can relate with!” A third Z piped up after Blake had demonstrated her ability. Z never really met anyone who could duplicate themselves before so this was pretty cool for her. The two clones stepped back into Z’s body as she folded her arms over her chest. “Names Z.”

“Back home there are these creatures, Grimm, some call them manifestations of evil, but no one really knows… Because of them we live in cities protected by great walls, and people like me, hunter and huntress’s fight them.”

She indicated to her back plate, where her weapon, Gambol Shroud currently resided. Just as she did her bow twitched again, and realizing that she wouldn’t really need to wear it here slowly pulled it off, her ears pricked upwards, almost as in a form of excitement.

“Much better…” She groaned, ears still sore despite being released.

[ S.P.D Emergency ] “I don’t think covering your ears like that is good for you.” Z started as a second Z walked around to the back of Blake and took a look at her ears.

“You could probably damage your hearing doing that.” The second Z commented.

Blake hummed in thought, she had never heard of Planet Earth, or the city they were in, and two-thousand and fifteen was definitely not the year back home. She just hoped that she wouldn’t seem out of place here, especially if people saw her with her bow off.  

“I’ve never heard of this place. I don’t even know how I got here! Just a bright light when I was fighting some Grimm.”

[ S.P.D Emergency ] “Grimm? Never heard of those either...” Z muttered softly as she ran a hand through her hair. Blake would't be out of place for her cat ears. Hell, there was aliens walking around with water tanks stapped to their back.

essentially, my friend who runs the robots-in-remnant blog have little to no activity going on. i don’t want them or their blog to leave, ever, at all.
