someone should pay me to write about how my relationship with the mcu went from general enjoyment to excitement to apathy to outright hostility
I'd love to see a study of how many people watched all the MCU, how many people stopped other than exceptions (black panther or the pivot to longform for example) and at what points burn out happened, getting reeled back in happened, if other better media was a factor in dropping out, if specific moments including promos and interviews made many think "OK that's the last straw". I'd read the dryest paper or a 5 hour video essay compiling testimony. Same for Disney and Star Wars. What's the threshold? Does it vary by age (nostalgia factor)? It was The Media people watched and talked about, maybe it's time to examine why it worked and why, for many, it stopped working.
I came back because I remembered ATJ played pietro with a Slavic accent and saw an edit of him on TikTok
I’m weak
